Such a lovely backpackers with options for bunk rooms or private. Very cute animal themed rooms in a lovely old building with great views of the sunset over the verandah. Cheap and affordable, though still lovely service with a coin laundry out the back, and free bikes to borrow meant I could get around cheap! Also the backyard was lovely with the chickens, fireplace and deck chairs to hang out.
Perfect backpacker experience. Large building. Many places to sit, see sunset, do laundry, make food, many interesting travelers to meet. It would also be easy to keep to oneself. Respectful and calm environment. Helpful staff. Central and accessible location with a pleasant view from balcony. Building is large and old so has imperfections; loud doors and limited 1st floor bathrooms, but I found this charming. Bed was large and standard but not plush and a bit worn. I loved it here and would stay longer if I had more time. Great place to unwind and chill. Lots of outdoor activities near by.

Perfect place to stay in Greymouth. Beautiful and huge house, lot of space there. Good location. Prices good as well and super friendly staff! It was lovely stay here. Thanks!
Noah Backpackers benefits from a prime location, making it convenient for exploring the city. However, the overall experience falls short in several areas.nnThe bathroom is a major drawback, as it urgently needs renovation. The outdated facilities significantly affect the level of comfort during the stay. Additionally, the 10 a.m. check-out time is inconvenient for travelers who value flexibility.nnStaying in one of the rooms in the outdoor area was particularly unpleasant. Located next to the laundry, the constant noise makes it far from a peaceful environment. While the garden view might seem appealing, the combination of noise and lack of privacy doesn’t make it worthwhile.nnIn summary, the location is the only notable advantage of this hostel. Unfortunately, the lack of attention to details that ensure a comfortable stay makes the overall value for money disappointing.
