Story

NLP New Zealand deliver world class NLP training programs within an Equine Assisted Learning environment – Neuro-Linguistic Programming courses with horses!

We are a training collaborative led by Alistair Wait, with Diya Welland and Rosemary Wyndham-Jones adding multiple perspectives to the training programs. Each have a unique co-training style enabling learners to discover comfortably and easily through the methodology of NLP.

Our work focuses on building strategies for individuals, groups and companies to successfully implement and sustain long lasting change. The scope of delivery includes cultural change, corporate excellence, team formation, leadership models, conscious evolution and higher learning all within premium NLP Certification programs.

Most of our courses are delivered at Dune Lakes Lodge, one of New Zealand’s most charming country retreats, located on the South Head of the beautiful Kaipara Harbour just north of Auckland. Classroom sessions at the lodge are in a relaxed yet professional environment surrounded by lakes, forest, and beach.

We combine experiential learning, including the opportunity our horses offer for equine assisted learning. Horses change lives. They mirror human emotions and behaviour, and we use this attribute as an exploratory tool throughout our trainings. Horses are ‘right brained’, relational, have present moment awareness, are non verbal and intuitive. The herd, a single thriving entity, communal and interconnected, demonstrates unification in action. Horses have the power to remind us of connection and union with all life. They in their own way, teach us about living in the moment, bringing peace, serenity and connection to ourselves and those in life we walk with.

Our highly experiential learning environment is packed with opportunities to engage with like minded people and the latest thinking in culture and change processes. Dune Lakes Lodge is a fabulous place in which to learn the non verbal language of your ‘herd’, reawaken your intuition, discover new insights and make sense of your world with the assistance of our equine friends. We have a strong commitment to social responsibility and your participation in these seminars, courses and workshops enables us to work with at risk youth including young offenders, abused teenagers, women’s refuge and special needs children.
