I had a great trial experience. Chris and Chelsea were both really welcoming and helpful. They did an excellent job showing us around and explaining the membership. I’m really happy with the experience, the gym and swimming pools are great, very excited to start my membership here!

First off I would say if you takeaway the occasional rude staff member or arrogant member, the facilities would warrant 4 stars given the $60 weekly membership. However there a many significant issues with this gym.nFirstly Tennis: as you'd imagine, plenty of people are enticed to join for the tennis. Booking courts is easy and readily available for members and is included in some memberships, which is actually a good bargain when considering location. However I experienced a couple of issues. First, our interclub team had 10 people!?! This meant we only played once a month.nSecondly, one of the members I was playing with braided me for replying to a text during a set break. I reported this, but no action was taking by the gym, and after that I made me uncomfortable using the gym.nnGym & Pool: both are some of the best in Auckland. Pool is great especially which the higher membership tier. Some people in the gym don't like it when you can lift more than them, which happens quite regularly considering there are a lot of oldies, but not really an issue. Although they do lack sufficient plates.nnFood: The restaurant is amazing and well priced. The coffee though is awful. I don't think the staff have any training and not matter what coffee you order you get the same sour mess. It's actually worse than McDonald's which I find hilarious.nnOverall: I join again if the gym actually cared about it's members and not just take sides and increase fee every year. It's expensive but you are getting alot for your money.

Just wanted to thank Nextgen’s duty manager Alexander for being welcoming and awesome to my guests on Sunday. I’ve been a member here for 10 years and this is not the only time the various staff members here have been super friendly and accomodating. The pools are great, the sauna and steam rooms are my favourite and the tennis members are among the nicest people. Thanks for providing such a great facility and staff for Aucklanders to enjoy.

Had such a good experience joining the Sunday tennis program! Everything was super smooth and communication was always really thoughtful and quick. You can tell a lot of care goes into it. Would definitely recommend to friends. We had Sora, Tomi and Shyam as our coaches and they were all soooo sweet!! Really enjoyed the time :

I have belonged to many gyms in Auckland and Next Gen is definitely the best in terms of its friendly and experienced staff and amenities. Especially love the roof top pool and the classes as there’s so many to choose from. Will definitely continue my membership for the foreseeable future
