St martins is a great store, excellent selection, infact if your looking for an item that's out the ordinary you will find it there. Great customer service, lots of parking. Fantastic liquor section great selection. Highly recommend.
I went to the new world at st martins in the morning yesterday 25/05/2022, i got a pack of hellers country pork ,price on the tag was $7.49 , I didn't check my receipt at shop till I got home ,the price is $10.95 written on the receipt. As it is a handy shop to me so I went to get something on my way home this morning again ,I saw the pork sausage, the price is $7.49 the same price to yesterday so I went to the customer service to tell the lady who was behind counter, she gave me an impression that she wasn't happy about my complaints ,finally she said someone forgot to change the price at end of the week ,I was wondering how many people had bought it without looking at their receipts ? how much New world had made from the wrong prices on the products each day ?! she asked me to make another trip to get the receipt to prove I had purchased it then she will give $3.50 change back ,and no an apology given, as if I had been wrong to complain.
Love the variety of foods that other supermarkets don't have.Ever have to wait too long in queues.Great staff who are helpful when looking for something.
A very well managed supermarket. Always stocked and offers a huge variety of goods. And they have excellent control over one egg carton per person!
Best supermarket in Christchurch. Solid selection of food, friendly longterm staff, lots of young staff getting experience and some money. Very nice manager. Would recommend shopping here.
It's an alright new world, nothing amazing about it, produce and meats are fine quality. Decent choice of craft beers

really good fruit and vege, and a comprehensive selection of vegan/gluten free and 'international' foods. helpful and knowledgable staff too!
Great range of good here, better than other supermarkets close to my home
It is just pot luck at the moment when trying to buy eggs same as other supermarkets. Still the same good value. If you shop using own brand then it is competitive. However, there are some items where own brand is not the same quality. I also shop according to the club card specials.
