A nice supermarket in Christchurch. Not as big as some others but adequate for most needs. Thank you.
They have some good prices on certain items but the service is very poor. Staff are very uptight and they don't pack your items even if you buy the bags from them. I had to pack my own and even then I had to put it on a seat as they don't have a packing station/place. Would not recommend this place to anyone. Might pay a little bit more at other supermarkets but at least the staff are friendlier and you get a service.
New World Stanmore is wheelchair and mobility scooter friendly. Some items are over priced, but there are always bargains to be found.
Very poor service particularly on a Saturday morning the older lady is very rude a supervisor! This particular store needs to get there customer service sorted but on the upside there are some really nice staff
A worker who was at the checkout at 10.33 am was seen sick and she was coughing and sneezing and would wipe her nose with her hand and then didn't sanitize or wear gloves before she scanned our food. That is very unhygienic and unprofessional, especially during covid times.

Prices are getting way to high to afford. Products they used to stock are no longer available. Price of Fruit & Vege is way overboard.
I've never really had a problem with any Christchurch supermarket. I go in, find my stuff, buy my stuff and leave. Works well for me.
A great New World, had all we were wanting and also some new coffee beans to try. Still a great store. We like to shop here.
One of my favorite new worlds in nz. Always super nice and helpful for people who are just passing thru
