Matthew made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived in the dark and was out with a big lamp to help guide our 7.1m caravan in to a great spot, without asking. He was very informative about what we should see and marked them on a map to help us. A family run business that is a credit to the Top 10 network. It made our experience first class. His efforts were exceptional and because of that we stayed extra time. Lovely park, very clean with great amenities and a huge lounge games room area and an awesome spa. Thanks Nikki and Murray
The pros: - Nice place with helpful and friendly staff. - The rooms are tidy, have all the kitchen amenities you need, and the walls are surprisingly sound proof. - They've done a good job keeping on top of making the rooms look new and modern. The cons: - Some of the rooms are quite small, which can feel a bit claustrophobic if you have kids with you. - The pool was nice and warm but felt heavily chlorinated. Maybe you can turn it down a notch? - This is more of a critique than a personal issue, but they could benifit from having either through-wall fans installed in their bathrooms or some sort of positive pressure system / extraction system to help with excess condinsation in the winter. All in all it was a pleasant stay and a well ran holiday resort. Safety: It's in a middle of a quite residential area.
Meads group..Lovely motel lovely staff.. may need fan in rooms as a little hot at night.. door mats a little slippy.. love the discreet cigarette butt holders.. highly recommend.. great prices especially with top 10 membership..Rooms: 4/5
Beau camping situé dans New Plymouth. L'accueil est ouverte jusque 19h, ce qui est très pratique. Les emplacements sont séparés par des haies, de nombreux arbres sont présents. Les pelouses sont parfaitement taillées tout comme les haies. Les équipements mis à disposition sont fonctionnels et propres. La plage, un lac et un pont sont facilement accessibles à pied, ce qui fait une belle balade. Nous avons fortement apprécié notre séjour
Basic, affordable campground cabins. We stayed in a "bunk" cabin. 8-berth, we were two adults and two children and it was fine. Sleeping 8 people in there would be very squashed. Kitchen counter all stainless steel and clean, sink, tap, washing up supplies, teatowel, bench cloth all supplied. Crockery and a small saucepan and frying pan too. Small fridge with ice box compartment. There is a table and two outdoor chairs. Plenty of space in the common room for dining. Main kitchen has toasters and electric jugs as well as extra fridges. Outlook from the cabin was concrete-y, but the playground and bbq area was close and convivial. Pool 1.3m deep, about 8m long. Small, but big enough to have fun. Friendly, helpful folk running the place.
For our family trip, we visited New Plymouth Top 10 Holiday Park and the location was great. However, the disappointing thing is that there were too many flies in the accommodation and that a separate fee was charged for renting bedding. If you are planning a trip here, please bring fly spray and bedding with you.Rooms: 1/5
Pretty disappointed with the camp site overall. Sites are small, so if you have a large tent no room for the tent and your vehicle. If you have a hatchback it’s not so bad, but the entire site is very poky, not much room to turn a large vehicle around. Management don’t seem to have a problem with people partying and disrupting other campers, so if you want a campsite where you can party and get away with it then definitely come here. If coming to New Plymouth, I highly recommend trying another campground or staying in a motel. Won’t be coming back in a hurry.
Great place to stay. Pool temperature was awesome not too hot or cold. Staff friendly. Customer service was great. Walkability: Close to the beach and town.
The powered sites for camping are mostly without grad anymore and a bit tiny. A lot of flies and not a very open feel on the site. That was the most expensive Top 10 we have been to and not really worth it.Rooms: 3/5
Booked Top 10 NP December 2022 for my family, my inlaws and 3 kids. Ended up not staying there because when we got into the room, there were too many flies in the room, maybe because it was summer time but didn't feel very sanitary and safe to stay there with the kids.Rooms: 1/5
