A beautiful place to stay. Although popular, it was very peaceful. It has an area for self contained vehicles and also one for non self contained. You can also fish a max of two trout per person and unlimited perch.
What a fabulous place to stay. Beautiful and scenic with lovely walks. Plenty of CSC parks with lake views and an elevated site for NCSC limited to 4 per night but there were many more. Long drop toilets so not so good with the number of NCSC. We only used them once and that was enough.
My spot for Sunday nights. Handy to town. Decent occupants. Serene location. Well used by German tourists. Guten taag....
Beautiful spot, with a nice walk around the lake and over to the te rewa rewa bridge. It was very busy and with only two toilets. Although only 4 spaces for non self contained, it seems that most people used the public toilet meaning it was quite busy. Still a great spot
I am glad that there are 4 spots available for Non-self-contained cars. Be there early, when I was here they were gone by 4pm. Sadly some locals drive up and down the road with their loud cars but even more annoying are some campers who arrive after 11pm and start to cook and chat loudly, also smashing the doors like no one else would be there wanting to sleep:/
