I had an exceptional experience at this music store. I doubt the possibility of finding a music store as great as this one and the possibility of having this kind of experience again in NZ. I purchased the Korg Poetry Chopin digital piano from here a few weeks ago, and it has been an absolute delight. Every member of the staff was incredibly helpful and delightful. They helped explain the different models of piano very well and helped me with picking this one. Due to my work schedule, I wasn't able to be home during the delivery hours. However, the manager was so kind, he helped delivered the piano and stool to my apartment with another staff. It was after their working hours as well. They even assisted with setting them up. I'm so so grateful for their help. They are absolutely angels. And as for the piano itself, it has got an amazing sound and touch, very similar to an acoustic piano. It’s also very affordable
We went to Music Planet to look for electronic keyboards / pianos and Rose very helpfully showed us their range of products. She showed several models and was able to offer a good deal on the item we eventually chose, and to include free delivery which she personally looked after. This service contrasted greatly with a previous store we visited. Thank you.
Had an awesome service from Rose and Alex. What a great team you have there. Very impressed with the customer service and happy to recommend that if you ever are in the market for any musical instruments don't buy till you have been to Music Planet on Queens Street, Auckland.
Been to many different music shops in my time, great service from Darren meant I was comfortable coming back, and purchasing another guitar for my collection. Great help & knowledge from Rose & Alex, three awesome customer service staff. Would recommend to all! :D
I had a great experience buying my bass today. The store associate, Lucian I believe his name was, was quite helpful. Patient and informative as he ALL of my questions in a concise and enjoyable manner. Who ever runs this shop, I plan to continue to shop at Music Planet with service like this!

The staff go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. Rose in particular is probably the best retail assistant I’ve ever had the pleasure of doing business with. Just from all her product knowledge and experience, she sorted my order very quickly, saved me a lot of time and hassle and I couldn’t be more satisfied. She definitely deserves a raise!
Popped in several times in the last month, accompanying my friend who wanted to buy a keyboard. Rose was there each time, providing excellent service without fail. She was highly knowledgeable about the keyboards, and gave excellent recommendations tailored to my friend's needs. I always felt like her recommendations were fully trustworthy, and her astute knowledge ensured my friend returned home with a full package of everything she needed to start jamming that night. I would highly recommend anyone looking for instruments to start here, particularly if they're just getting started.
The music shop has lots of options with a wide range of instruments. The staff there are highly welcoming and helpful. Had an awesome buying and customer experience! A big thanks to Rose, she is very professional, informative and friendly, even played some beautiful songs on different pianos to help us quickly pick up the one we like. We bought a lovely piano last month and it has really good quality. I would highly recommend this shop to others. Come to Rose and she is brilliant.
