Great selection with personalised and friendly service. This is light years above the ‘blue’ music store. As a left hander buying my first electric, I was supported through my purchase for what suited me best. Couldn’t recommend Music Works enough and will be heading here from now on for all my gear.
The guitar I bought online came in good time. During the inspection I found the strings to be rusty and old. The releaf on the neck was cupped quite badly. I took it to a local guitar shop and he fixed to a degree that was acceptable to me, a little high tho at the top end. I'm thinking I should send it back and get a refund.
Amazing customer service and lovely staff. They also have new guitars in stock, check them out before they're gone.
The dudes work here extremely hard. We were there to pick up an Epiphone FT30 and their honesty floored us tbh. Quite an amazing experience dealing with the bros there. Thanks again.

Really low on staff once paid, not even bothered to help you load your equipments. I have been in the store with 3 yr old and a 8 yr old. Purchased a Piono and was just left on road for me to take care because as soon as the payment is made they want to attens other customers.
I bought a Yamaha YDP 164 electric piano through Music Works Hobson Street, Auckland in January. The staff were very helpful in reserving the piano for me to play and I had a really great experience in-store where I was given lots of time to play the piano before buying it. The staff, particularly Oliver, were great in answering my questions about the piano. I was so impressed with the service I was given with purchasing this piano and I was so grateful that the piano was delivered to and assembled in my apartment. After a few months of playing I am so happy with my purchase and am enjoying my piano. Thank you!!! I would definitely come back here in future for any other purchases! :
Excellent customer service. Bought some electric guitar strings, think there must have been a tiny leak in the packaging from the factory because the high strings had rust on them. Dropped Musicworks an email and they had replacement strings out with a courier to me within an hour. Really nice people to deal with. Keep it up
Really great team at this store; friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about their products which is really refreshing in today's environment and just makes the store a fun place to shop and hang out. Thanks for the great experience and this is definitely my go-to for any music needs, legitimately 5 Stars
I had a guitar that had a grounding issue. They took it in on the friday and it was ready the next morning. Only a $40.00 job as well. Very happy and will be back.
