Had the Bulgogi burger, and it was hands down the best burger I've had since arriving in New Zealand. Everything on the menu is rich with flavor, and incredibly well presented. Despite being a relatively new addition to the Mount's bustling main Street, it stands out as my top spot for phenomenal food choice and cold Asahi on tap.

I really wanted to try this place because of their unique menu with many options. My friends and I ordered 3 different types of burgers and the fries with kimchi. The kimchi they use is delicious and the fries were pretty nice but the cheese was pretty hard and not melted enough. The burger sauces were nice and so were the Ingredients but the patties were bland. The buns on the burgers were hard, almost stale? I would’ve preferred toasted or at least steamed buns. It was nice to try it but I wouldn’t really recommend eating here unless they change the quality of some of these things.

Genuinely delicious Korean inspired burgers. 10/10 would recommend for a casual lunch, drinks, parties or a dinner with mates. Good cocktail selection, perfect for spring. Decent ambience and conveniently located on the main stretch of Mount Maunganui

Korean-inspired burgers served to 80s power ballads in the heart of the Mount. The burgers are huge. Great flavours - love kimchi and cheese combo - but way too much bread. If the buns were smaller, the burgers would be perfect. Great people watching spot.

We went on a Saturday afternoon and the place was very quiet, unlike the surrounding venues. We got a Bulgogi burger and a Pork burger and unfortunately the flavors were just bland, nothing special like the great flavors of a Korean BBQ. The Bulgogi was the biggest disappointment as it was just minced beef and not thinly sliced beef that you get in a traditional.korean restaurant. We shared the kimchee tofu and that was quite good. I wouldn't recommend the mojito mint nonalcoholic drink as it is just a cordial with soda on top that someone didn't stir through and couldn't be consumed. Overall, if you are expecting dynamic flavors that Korean BBQ is known for, I would suggest a different venue. The venue seemed nice and tidy, if you don't look up. Brown packing tape over a vent and a couple of the led lights let the overall look of the place down. Also be careful of the random piece of wood sticking out from the wall. $61 not well spent. Sorry Mr Kim's, we won't be back.

Mr. Kim’s cheese burger & Kangnam style chicken ordered. One of the best burger in NZ. Chicken saurce is good. Highly recommend. Missing these food from Auckland.

Loved this place. Unique flavors and nice staff. Bulgogi burger was average but I love their Kimchi taste ~ I will definitely try other menu next time!

We stumbled on this burger bar by mistake but it was the best mistake ever! The staff were lovely and brought out some complimentary starters while we sat down. Our waitress was very accommodating and informative around dietary requirements. The burgers were super delicious and the veges on them were very fresh. Loved this place and will be back!

He had Buddhist Burger Vegan and Kimchi Tofu; She had Mr Kim’s Cheeseburger - burgers with mild kimchi yum!

Delicious experience last night at MrKim's! We were 4 and we asked the waitress to give us 4 burgers of her choice and it was all delicious, different flavors and textures! Very nice welcome with a free healthy starter, we all had beers, wine and cocktail, all very good as well! We ordered a delicious caramel thickshake and amazing banofee pie!!! Wow great flavors and atmosphere with perfect music choosen. Thanks MrKim's!
