Mount Cook Lodge and Motels

we stay here instead of Hermitage for cost control. they have similar glass window restaurant, good food, better price, same location. Room is ok, so I recommend those who have limit budget can choose here. btw, get up before sunrise, you will be shocked by the amazing view.

Excellent, compact but big enough love bright room, full kitchen and air conditioning. Very quiet no noise from road traffic. Very good bathroom. Great warm welcome from the staff at reception.

Amazing location and view of the mountains. Mt Cook is usually cover in cloud so don't be too worried if you can't see the summit. Boat ride round the lake is great. Rooms are clean and friendly staff.

We stayed in the less salubrious motel units at back of lodge, and they were great. Well equipped and clean. Lovely bushwalks at the doorstep, terrific eating place up hill 10 min walk for buffet dinner. Fab.

Nice motel! Great location and views in affordable price. The rooms are not bad. There is wifi service, although not free. It is nice to be able to enjoy all those modern technology in such a remote place. Besides, there is a bar.
