Had 3 rooms 2 x 5 beds and 1 x 4 beds.nRooms were spotless comfortable warm and big enough to accommodate each individual needs.nShower pressure amazing.nService on point when requesting other requirements. used another area for a banquet meal for the whanau. Just ask at reception its either a yes or no. Would definitely recommend for large groups as ours was. 12 peoplenKids and adults enjoyed the swimming pool area once they understood the rules No bath towels in the pool area , request for pool towels at the reception . Outside space for kids to play.nParking outside rooms.nAwesome stay would highly recommend.
Kath could not have been more obliging. We were looking for somewhere to stay for a family members funeral and we had a fairly large group of 11. She patiently handled our requests for certain room types for certain members of our family. She even went above and beyond and allowed us to have a late checkout on one of our four rooms so we could continue to prepare for the funeral in the afternoon. This helped us immensely and was very unexpected. The rooms were clean, the linen was fresh, the grounds were very tidy and well kept, and the best bonus was her two gorgeous cats on the property! If any of us are travelling to Whangarei in future we would not hesitate to try here first.

When calling to book as family in hospital were told that would be better to book closer and given names of two other places, that didn't have vacancies.nThis was after being told that we would need proof of covid vaccines which I queried the need for - I did tell her that I was sure we'd be able to log in and retrieve them again but it was at that point that I was suddenly told that I'd be better to find somewhere closer to the hospitalnnIs it even legal to be demanding proof of vaccinations now?
Don't bother booking here! The whole famy live here and weird activities seem to be taking place at rear of the motel where the family live, its quite diaturbing i almost called the police. This motel is run by cowboys in a mickey mouse outfit. Not impressed and very disappointed. Sheets were not changed! And milk not supplied! Spa Pool OUT OF SERVICE! Prior to our three weeks stay here. POOR SERVICE! ANYONE WHO RATES HIGHLY OF THESE PREMISRS ARE CLEARLY FAMILY! I would highly suggest you book elsewhere if you want value for your money...nnThis is a SOLID NO from me, and a NO Star rating!nnDISAPPOINTING!!!!
