This place is absolutely terriblennFirstly the owners are very weird and angry. They tried to kick me and my family out for laughing at 8pm in our rooms.nThe man also was smoking cigarettes awfully close to my family while giving us weird looks.nnThe beds are infested with bed bugs and I got bitten at least 20 times during my 3 night stay.nThe kitchen equipment and cutlery were also very yuck.nnAlso booked here for the pool and spa but the pool was freezing cold and the spa wasn’t able to be used for some reason.nnWould never stay here again.
Just had a lovely stay here, while my father-in-law was in hospital. Booked it last minute, was really easy and friendly. Very clean, tidy and comfortable, also helpful and kind staff.nI would definitely recommend and stay there again myself
WOULD NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN!!!!nnTerrible place to stay. The owners are very weird people and unwelcoming. The moment I arrived we felt like they didn’t want us here. The owner even tried to get us to check out early and leave the site.nnIf you are slightly unsure if you should stay here, and you read this review, save yourself some trouble and stay somewhere else in whangarei.
I would use this Motel over any other in Whangarei, our Host Motel owner Kath is the most friendliest, helpful person you could meet , she went well out of her way to make sure our stay was everything we wanted, and even found some toys to give to our Grandson to enjoy while we were there Our rooms were very clean,tidy and very warm and comfortable with everything we wanted Definitely will be back and would recommend to all we know who in the future would be visiting Whangarei to holiday. 5 stars from our Family Thankyou Kath Motel Sierra
We loved this hotel, the hosts were accommodating for us especially when we were trying to get washing etc done. The cats were friendly, and just wanted to be pet which we loved because we are missing our own furry friends.nnThe room was clean and the beds were comfortable.nnThe only issue I had was with the supplied frying pan. A non stick one would have been easier to manage with.nnAs for the COVID vaccine, the owner made it clear to us the requirement was in place for their own safety as they are immune compromised.
