Absolutely outstanding service from Mary and Jan! They helped me out when I kept calling for late minute check ins and it was the easiest process I could have ever imagined! The rooms were comfortable and had a mini kitchen fit enough to cook a nice meal in. But overall I can’t get over how lovely the workers were, highly recommend and I’ll definitely be coming back Thankyou for an easy, simple, stress free motel experience!
What a fabulous place to stay! Mary was incredible, and nothing was too much trouble. 17 teenage girls plus a coach and me - we many demands, but every single one was dealt with with grace and care. Rooms were fabulous and well equipped. The only downside was the road noise, but location wise, it was a very handy spot to everything. Thanks for having us!!

Thank you so much to Mary and her team. Recently we needed to reaccommodate an Uncle and Aunty who live in one of the Kaumātua Flats at Tangiterōria Marae while repairs were being undertaken to fix extensive damage after a flood. Our whānau felt at home and were very comfortable. Their unit was perfect as it had kitchen facility and they were able to happily call it home for three weeks. Cheviot Park is a lovely complex, close to downtown Whangarei. We recommend this venue to all. Ngā mihi, Tangiterōria Marae :
