From our arrival through to our departure, this hotel is hands down the best experience ever. Having to stop and rest for the night on a very long trip from the far north to Auckland, we pulled into the motel and had arrived in heaven. Welcomed by the lovely Linda, who instantly saw our need for a good rest and appointed a room/apartment that was the epitome of luxury and style. After an amazing , lengthy soak in the Spa bath / hot tub we enjoyed a meal in out very own dining area and retired to a heavenly King sized bed for the perfect sleep ever.nThe best hotel by far and I will be enjoying many more visits while I'm in town.nThank you Lodge Bordeaux, your a little piece of Tranquil paradise that needs to be experienced. Very highly recommend you check it out for yourselves you will not want to leave.
Absolutely loved our 5 days. Loved everything and can not fault anything. Right from first contact with Linda over the phone pur experience with Lodge Bordeaux was exceptional. The beds are super comfortable, the decor tasteful, the heated floor was a treat, the spa bath and salts special, access to laundry facilities was fantastic, location super convenient, however the absolute winner about Lodge Bordeaux are the owners Stephanie, David and their son Josh. Their service, kindness, thoughtfulness and willingness to make our stay wonderful is something very special. You do not meet people like this often, it was an absolute gift. Highly recommend staying here.
Have always driven past and thought how lovely it looks from the outside. The inside of the rooms do not disappoint either, spacious, clean, well appointed, and very thoughtfully set up with little touches that are appreciated when you're away from home. Especially loved the personal visit from the Lodge's two guest relations team on arrival, Reginald and Lucy give a great welcome. Highly recommend the Lodge Bordeaux and its hosts.
Last minute decision to get a room with our young ones while away at a tangi in Hikurangi and turned out to be an absolute godsend.nnWe were given a free upgrade in order to accomodate the baby and children better.nnBeautifully appointed rooms, clean, stylish, warm and comfortable. The spa bath with complimentary bath salts and exfoliating body scrub bar was an added delight.nn100% highly recommend to all.
What a pleasure to stay in such a lovely well kept place.nThe owners were so friendly.nThey have environmentally friendly packaging.nThe place was spotless.nThe rooms were large.nThey also have the option of room service breakfast which was excellent and on time.nHaving stayed in 5 star hotels before; this hotel is a match and more to any of them.nWell done guysnWill recommend you to everyone.nThank you very much.nBlessings.nColin and Sarah Viegas
