Big portion ! I went before they open on 4.30pm, have two car was waiting for open too! The phone order was non stop ringing while I wait for mine, update menu for reference and the picture of the roster pork fried rice can divide to two- three meals !
OK I was not prepared for that AT ALL!!nMy first time ever trying this place and oh my goodness what a meal!! The size of just one meal would be enough to feed a small family, never mind the the fact we got three meals to share between three of us.nAbsolutely amazing, the best Chinese in Christchurch hands down
Huge dishes, veg and meats were fresh and the sauces were delicious. Not overly salted and just the right fluid to solid ration. One small criticism is the type of noodle they use in Chow Mein, it's like angel hair pasta very thin but had a oily taste and may not be the traditional noodle one would expect in a Mein. Other than that, it was a great bargain, very tasty, and was ready for my pick up when they said. Lots of left overs too.
Amazing food, but be prepared to wait. Sometimes the wait can be upwards of 40mins but the serving size and food is epic!nnDefinitely call ahead and ask for the wait time.
Believe all the reviews, the portions here are HUGE! And the food is really tasty! Amazing value for money! First time visiting, we ordered Beef Black Bean #13, Sweet & Sour Pork #22, Vegetables on Rice #26 and Bami Goreng #29. Cost around $70 and we will be feasting of all this food for DAYS! I kid you not, I carried my order out in a big box, must have weighed nearly 10kg! They dont put lids on the containers so each dish came in an overflowing container bottom and sealed in an oven proof bag. The beauty of this place is heaps of food. And the downfall, which isnt really a downfall if you want a variety of flavours for only a few people, you'll have leftovers galore!nRelatively fast turn-around of what turned out to be a large order was advised 40 mins. I showed up at 35 mins and feed was piping hot, waiting for me. The couple running the place are like a well oiled machine! My verdict, bottom line, if you like Chinese food, you've gotta try this place
