Great service and ambiance. We got there at 5pm on Friday and got. Nice window eating. We ordered the grilled seafood platter and it was delicious. We ordered tiramisu but we ate too fast and I forgot to take a picture.
It was our last night in Half Moon Bay and it was suggested we head here for dinner. Glad we had reservations because the place quickly filled up after we arrived at 6:00 p.m. We enjoyed the appetizer of meatballs.....flavor great and sauce superb. A bit disappointed only one fish entree for the evening and it was swordfish I couldn't eat. So I ordered lamb chops not seen on a menu often. Seasoned well. Desert..oh my! Expresso over vanilla gelato...yum.
The food was a culinary delight!! Some of the best Italian food I have had! The Farfalle Primavera was delicious. It was the perfect combination of vegetables and pasta. The service was also very good and they all had nice Italian accents! Dine in: Yes
We stopped here for lunch as we traveled home from Santa Cruz. While pricey, the food was excellent. Shared a couple of margarita pizzas and enjoyed a green salad with seafood prawns and calamari. For dessert we tried the strawberry ice cream/cheesecake/white chocolate cake and a traditional canoli. The person in our group who ordered the canoli says it was the best canoli he'd ever had he's 75 and from New York, so that says a lot!. Every plate was cleaned. The service was friendly, but like so many places right now it was clear that they were short-handed. Be prepared for this everywhere you go right now. Makes giving 5 stars a challenge, so if we return once things are more settled post-pandemic we will update our review accordingly.
Jan 28, 2022: Enjoyed lunch celebrating a friend's birthday. Service was excellent and attentive. Food was very good, particularly enjoyed that the fried calamari was NOT greasy or oily as in other places. Only slight miss was the garlic bread, it was not made with fresh garlic and had a dry powdery parmesan cheese layer...? The other food was delicious and good portions. Prices were about what this area seems to be charging..Will return and try other dishes.
Staffs are very friendly and their seafood is very fresh, not to mention the yummy homemade pasta!
Great experience if you are looking for delicious Italian dishes.
It was our friends birthday and we celebrated by having lunch here.The service was great! Our meals we all enjoyed.Food: 5/5
Service was excellent, food was over the top, and they were very accommodating for my girlfriends birthday dinner. Had some requests for her dinner to make it special and they knocked it out of the park. Everything tasted homemade and authentic. Will be recommending to everyone I know that is visiting half moon bay, and will be back. Thanks again.
Because it’s COVID we chose to be seated outside. It was windy but the staff kindly turned on the heater. The food was high quality. Calamari was fresh and tender. The seafood linguine was highly recommended. The staff was friendly. Will definitely come back again.
