Mercure Queenstown Resort

We stayed 8 nights at the Mercure hotel for a special occasion and can’t fault anything ! Our stay was superb !! Our room was stunning demo room and made up everyday ! The service from all staff exceeded our expectations! The lovely Fijian lady at the reception Una was lovely and very professional. The view is gorgeous from the bar and restaurant ! Highly recommend this hotel ! You will be staying in a perfect location very close to the center and with the most amazing service you can have. Thank you to the whole team for this memorable holiday ! You made it very special for us and can’t wait to be back !

Good large room with supposedly great view. Unfortunately our window was frosted so you can't see outside with uninterupted view.nThe view is the the hotel's greatest asset. They should think of ways to improve this, such as heating, etc.nCheck in staff were friendly and the dinner in restaurant were also nice.nOverall it is a very pleasant hotel, but the price is on the expensive side and doesn't reflect on the dated hotel condition.nI would definitely be back, but maybe after they finish updating.

Stayed here recently while on holiday in Queenstown. The hotel is further out of Queenstown than other hotels, but offers free parking which is a good trade-off as parking in the more central hotels can be pricey. The hotel has great facilities, and a fantastic view of the lake. My only critique is that the rooms are rather dated compared to other hotels at a similar price point. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay.

The service was top notch, both the staff at the reception and the kitchen. The receptionists were friendly and quick to offer help and advice. We ordered room service that was delicious although a tad cold on arrival, perhaps it would be better to dine in the restaurant. The room was stunning and the Lakeside view was even more magnificent. The price was very good when compared to the surrounding hotels, I will definitely be staying here again.

Stayed 4 nights with breakfast in the hotel. Great location, just a walking distance to the town centre, free parking onsite, amazing views but that’s just it. Breakfast was the same for straight days we were there, have 2 dishes different every now and then but unhealthy fried noddles, spring roll my friend had heartburn due to oily foods I have memorised all their dishes like literally. Cant even have a banana in the morning. There is no free water that comes with your room. Outdated building and elevator. My 3 star is for the amazing view.
