Heritage Queenstown

Had a great stay and experience at this hotel during our stay in Queenstown! Stayed in room 310nHotel gives an overall cozy ambiance, like an upscale cottage. See pictures below. Rooms are clean, design of rooms slightly outdated.nHotel is a quick walk from downtown, the walk has gorgeous views! Staff was amazing, very friendly and accommodating!nQuick story:nMy husband and I wanted to play chess and have tea around 10pm but we didn't realize the kitchen had already closed. We spoke to a staff member who told us not to worry, they asked what tea we preferred and in minutes brought tea pot and honey to the chess table where we were. They also play holiday music in the lobby during the holiday season but it gets turned off after 9pm. I was hoping to listen to music while playing chess so my husband asked about it and they were happy to turn the music back on while we played.nHad a lovely evening of chess and tea thanks to the accommodating staff.nThank you for a great stay, will book here again next time we are in Queenstown!

Amazing apartment - so well appointed - loved having all the space and such a fabulous lake view. The MOST comfortable bed we have ever slept in!!!!!! Even wrote down the mattress name at end of stay! Great to have a washing machine too! Pool area and gym were fantastic . We loved the short lake view walk into town!

Stayed at the Heritage Queenstown and thought for the price it was a steal. 1.6 easy walk with a short downhill part on the beginning or uphill on the return back, outstanding views from the hotel and surrounds, well stocked gym, sauna, hot tub and pool. After a big day of skiing this was awesome!nnI loved the European ski lodge vibe of the main building and the rooms while simple were well furnished. Loved the bath and bath soak provided.nnAnd whilst I did pay for a lake view, you could see it from our room.nnOverall, incredible stay.nnMy only feedback would be to vary the pillow selection for guests who prefer a feather or softer pillow and to include the selection of some of NZ’s outstanding non-alcoholic beers at the bar.nnGreat stay, thank you so much team!

What a wonderful stay at Rendezvous Hotel Heritage Queenstown, the rooms we perfect for our needs, and the staff exceptional and above expectations. Our grandson loved the buffet, as we did too. The kids meals were perfect for our 2 year old and nothing was too hard for the team. We will stay again, and thanks to all the team from housekeeping, restaurant team and everyone that made our trip memorable. It was lovely to see our little grandson smile when he saw the team, so again thanks again for the best experience.

Overall subpar for the price. You can tell this place used to be a 4 star hotel but not anymore. The hot tub and pool area had paint peeling all over the place, the pool showers were filthy and scummy no evidence of cleaning for a long while, the carpets in the hotel were showing their age too. The fixtures everywhere were old. The staff were also not happy people they didn't seem to like working there. The one good part was the food, which could pass for 4 stars.
