Take a rest for long drive to Dunedin. The Clyde is small city but so good. The restaurants has good coffee and breakfast.nnIn the shop include many souvenir like food, sweet, and coffee bean e.g. Patagonia Chocolate, Hummingbird Coffee Bean, Clyde local jam.nnNote: Outdoor table and chair not much clean.
A beautiful setting with a great playground. Very relaxing having a great coffee while the children happily play. Great selection of goodies and souvenirs to buy from the shop. Loved our morning here
Food is excellent as always, but the general feel of the outside area was a bit shabby, could do with a spruce up, but overall a lovely setting. I feel they could do better with gluten free options, the bread alternative is very average, there are good gf sourdough alternatives available these days.
The food was very expensive and did not taste great.nnAsked a staff member if one of the meals had cheese and was incorrectly advised it did not.nnAlso, my young son picked out a Kambucha from the fridge then subsequently released after paying that it included alcohol. I would recommend not mixing non-alcoholic with alcoholic drinks in the same fridge.nnWould not recommend this as a place to stop.
Tried one of the regional specialties - a cheese roll. Pretty good although a little too much bread in relation to the cheese filling. Service a little slow when busy but otherwise helpful.
