The owner is super nice! We had amazing burgers and chips, portions were huge and everything tasted great. The real fruit ice cream is delicious. Definitely will come back.
This place serves GF hotdogs, and they are amazing. After going gluten free, I thought I was destined to trudge through a hotdog-less life, devoid of that sweet, deep-fried goodness, until the sweet release of death. That was before I found the Clyde Village Store. Every time my partner and I come through Clyde we get one or four. Thank you Clyde Village store, from the bottom of my heart. The owner is also lovely.
Food here is ok. Great chips!! Love the different options!! I got a blue cod burger, but it was so full of tartae everything literally slipped right out of the burger, so just ate the fish. Considering you’re paying between $14 - $20+ for a burger you expect a decent one. Wouldn’t recommend. Would have been better off going to kfc. Super disappointed as a clyde local
First visit here and will for sure be back! I had the pulled pork and apple slaw burger, the slaw was crunchy with fresh apples and pork tender and juicy......it is messy so grab a napkin and dig in! Sooooo good. 5 stars all the way, friendly and quick service. Thank you:
I went to this store to get fish and chips, it ended up being $20.50. The minimal amount of sauce on the picture was $1, whereas it’s 50c everywhere else I’ve been. The kumara fries were over cooked and the small hoki fish was $11.50 the fish of the day, absolutely disappointing. I will never be going to this store to get hot food again unless it changes, I feel ripped off. The real fruit ice cream is good, this is just where it misses the mark. I like how they have a variety of foods for different diets, like gluten free, vegetarian, etc. The 2 star is for the other foods they have not the fish and chips. edit: owner was kind enough to give me a full refund
