Happy with the car I bought on October 2020, had the car for 2 years no hassle. Had a service early 2021 did not get a loan car cause the guys told me to book a month in advance, got charged for 3K for a rotor replacement with lip already on it. Did not complain take it to other shop for way cheaper around half a year after the service as needing to replace it again. Second time around tried booking a service a month and a half beforehand still did not get a loan car. Now this year claimed a warranty for a faulty turbo, tried to sell the car back as my sales assistant told me I can but got rejected unless I buy a car from them, no loan car cause its an emergency repair too. Could have been easier if I bought a car from other brands across the street.
If you're after a car new or used, you must chat with Glen, incredibly knowledgeable and attentive to the customer. Explains everything in detail you can understand. You will always be looked after to perfection.
Mercedes Benz Newmarket - what a stellar team. The car went in for a service and came out gleaming! They reminded me about the warrant, phoned and organised and even provided me with a courtesy car. All in all - I'd highly recommend the team.
Told the service advisor Luca Meyer about the problem with the Bluetooth. They just updated the software for $250 and never solved the problem. I had to take it back a week later. Without a car they said they’d send a taxi to pick me up. I have a child to pick up. 50 minutes later I’m still waiting. I call back and Luca tells me he’s not responsible for Auckland traffic and that they’re under no obligation to pick me up. Just rude, poor customer service.
My vehicle was in for an A1 service and the team picked up a small oil leak. The team have since been in touch and booked my car in for further investigation. Excellent service.
Second Opinions Count! Thanks Ingham Prestige - forever grateful! After having our windscreen replaced at a local glass shop, we immediately had problems with the window wipers and the auto sensor which resulted in them not always working. After the glass tech couldn’t find a problem with the job they in-listed a local Mercedes workshop mechanic to find the issue. The response was it was unrelated, that is was a coincidence in timing and that the wiper motor had burnt out therefore we needed a replacement ex Singapore totalling $1600 + GST which would take several weeks to arrive. This didn’t sit right with us. There was never a problem before, why now? We phoned Ingham Prestige in Hamilton and spoke with Daniel, the very knowledgeable and understanding workshop manager seeking a second opinion. Daniel requested the car be delivered to his workshop and said he would have his top technician look the Mercedes over and get back to us with no promises as motors do wear out over time. The following morning, Daniel phoned with the good news that it wasn’t the motor at all, instead a plate had slipped down into the wiper motor which sits in between the glass and frame. As you can imagine, we are ecstatic with the outcome and if something doesn’t sit right with you, look for a second opinion through the Mercedes Benz specialists, Ingham Prestige in Hamilton and ask for Daniel. They know their Mercedes! Thanks Team.
Went in to look and maybe order a GLE, the cars on the showroom floor were locked and they were unable to find the key. They don’t care about customer service now. Big change for the worst from when I last bought a Mercedes. Went to Porsche and ordered a Cayenne. Much better service. When we wanted to look at the car there was no one else looking at. there was someone looking at the AMG cars. What I don't get is why the showroom cars are locked? Especially why was that car locked if someone had been looking at it? Yes we were offer to go outside but I wanted to see inside the new model not a second hand car. simply it seemed that the team just didn’t want to open the cars. you cant sell a secret.
