Visit Melrose House, Gardens and Cafe - a short walk from Nelson's CBD. Enjoy the beautiful gardens, wander through this grand historic home, then grab some refreshment from the Cafe. Melrose can be hired for weddings, meetings, workshops, memorial services, holiday parties and special events - small or large. The Melrose House Cafe specialises in high teas, gourmet meals, treats and drinks.

There is no charge to enjoy the House and Gardens.

Beautiful old house that has been restored. Now used for events but you can walk around when open. Nice little café serves food, coffee, and tea
Beautiful house outside. Cute cafe inside. Delicious selection of teas. However the bits to visit seemed a bit boring to me as most furniture has been removed. So it doesn't give much of an idea how the house was used. Back in the day.

Did not have orangejuice for a mimosa and when orded å berrysmoothie we got a berry yoghurt.....
Really beautiful. Stunning garden
Third time we have visited on a weekend for Devonshire tea and each time was told no scones left. Told they only make 15 scones per day & when they are gone - bad luck. When I requested we have something else was told to "come back tomorrow".
A bit too expensive. Food pretty good but small servings. Not value for money. Will only go there once in a blue moon!
