McDonald's Whangaparaoa

Fairly standard McDonald's outlet. Good quick service.

Really good for coffee and muffins, even getting the standard food is good. They rarely get the order wrong.

We arrived here at 9PM to drink Mochacino coffees after a trip from Shakespeare Park and beach No more coffees though as the machine is already cleaned. We were offered hot chocolate instead. Nice place with lots of parking space and other shops around like Pizza Hut.

It's everything you would now come to expect in a Cashless Operation of this nature. No cash is taken, everything is ordered electronically on Touchscreens. No counter staff at all. Venue was clean and tidy, Carpark right outside. Rustic table at the entrance has a very potentially dangerous edge on it and is the result of vandals.

Absolutely shocking food. We joined a a trail of 7 cars each side in front of us in drive through which means they were busy. Food should have been hot and fresh. Chicken nuggets were old and fries were like cooked an hour ago. The only way they were bit hot because of the warming station they were in.

We had two birthday parties there. Very handy and cost effective.
