Had a long day and needed some nice hot fries. Thought McDonald’s would be the place to go for it, unfortunately this one is not. Fries were cold, super stale and tasted bitter. Also no salt. I’m not normally one to complain but they were actually so awful :nYou’d think the fact that it was quiet and not busy would mean they can easily make the food fresh. There is no excuse.nI hope the staff don’t take this as an insult but as something constructive. I hope they can improve on keeping food fresh; not reusing old food.
Ordered a kiwiburger and asked for no beetroot and a cheeseburger with no pickle.nBoth burgers came with pickle - even though there shouldn't be any in a kiwiburger in the first place.nSo funny, McDs. We will try Ruahine St next time.
The 2 usual cleaners didn't seem to be working on Sun 21 Apr 2024. But at least other staff could clear the tables & empty the rubbish bins. Customers like me had to leave our rubbish on the tables. it might be a busy time between 12.30 & 1 pm but no excuse as it spoilt an otherwise nice meal.
Absolutely love this MC Donald's. It's always yummy and fresh. And the service is great. Always friendly face and good workers.
Walk into the store to see only 2 of 8 kiosks working, place has rubbish on tables, general untidiness and no one cleaning up… because of this ate our food in the car on a long drive instead of dining in. Could see multiple staff 8+ just milling around not doing very much while a couple hard workers rushed around. Food was warm at best but looked like it had been thrown together from across the room. This is sadly what happens when you have alot of young staff who don’t care too much about their job…
