What a pleasant experience in the drive through today. It is Friday 11th Nov at around 10:30am and the young lady on the delivery window needs a mention. What a friendly, caring and polite young lady. If all MacD’s had staff like this young lady the place would be a goldmine. Service that was exceptional, apologies for service that was just a little slow and a smile with a good wish for the rest of my day. What an Angel and what a gem for McDonalds Kaiapoi.
Ask for a large flat white full stop and a small Fanta. Then ask for gold card full stop when we got around to pay we were told that we could only have a small flat white not a large on the gold card ask to change it they got quite a fencer is that already made it and wanted us to take it. And if we were told that we couldn't have a large one we wouldn't taken it. Five hours of driving, to have the supervisor at the window saying they had made it. Couldn't be changed, but they change it without informing us. Other drivethru when ordering give large. Supervisor standing at the window with using blue tactics. Holding the drink with her, but other drink was no ready.
I go through the drive thru and decide to order a happy meal. “Oh, hohoho,” the person at the drive thru laughed, voice as smooth and silky as a triple-thick strawberry shake for only $2.09. “Our toys aren’t only for kids.” The happy meal must have been a good choice then. I receive my order and look inside, there is in fact a toy. The person at the drive thru did not lie about the toy being not only for kids. I play with the toy in my car for my own personal pleasure. Ooooohhh, this toy is soooo nice. I grip the toy firmly in my hand as I play with it more. I don’t know what toy you had in mind, but the toy I was enjoying was the minions rise of gru toys.

The cheese burger had mayo in it and my son wouldn’t touch it. The Big Mac had an unusual taste to it. This is one of the most inconsistent branches.
Haven't had Macdonald's for years.. got a feed from Kaiapoi maccas last week and the food was awesome.. surprised me heaps and it was really enjoyable.. 10 outta 10 kaiapoi Food: 5/5
Disappointing food lacked flavour and the burger was strangely chewy Service was was less than should be the man who took our struggled to enter the order into the computer Overall reminded me that I'm not a fan of McDonald's and my attendance is only cause of child pressure
Coffee wasnt the greatest.. couldn't fulfill order... told no frozen coke at first window but sugar free frozen coke was there... then next window get told there's only fruit flavors. So got blueberry. Got a mocha too and it wasn't the best. Cold even though we had to wait. Staff were very friendly though.
The chips were cold as for everything else- high customer service, burgers good , drinks good quick and easy.Food: 2/5
Food was good but they charged 50Cents for water that should of been freeFood: 4/5
