McDonald’s Christchurch Airport

Went through the drive thru, Ordered 4x cheeseburgers with "all the pickles" the guy had to confirm with me and I confirmed. 2 of the burgers had extra pickles and 2 had "all the pickles" it was amazing.

Goodness, the staff were a-plenty and working hard to keep things clean and tidy. Staff very friendly. And you can see they care about the food by the way it was carefully assembled and placed in the packaging. This is fairly rare for a Maccas, and I have this inkling the owners of this branch work hard on site most of the time.Food: 4/5

Went here for a quick bite, ordered a mcspicy + chips + drink large combo When i got back to work i opened the bag, and there was about a quarter pack of chips, No pesky bag chips or anything just not even half a thing of chips in there. McSpicy was amazing, Bit skimp on the mayo considering i asked for extra But at the end of the day it’s maccas and ya get what ya pay for, and i was hoping i could get a full thing of chips

My first visit to McDonald's in New Zealand was quite interesting. I found it amusing that you can pour your own drinks as the staff sells you a cup to use. The food was nothing out of the ordinary, but what caught my attention was the event they were hosting for a real estate mogul. They also had self-service ordering machines, which was a nice touch.

Very easy parking for our larger shuttle busses.... We were in and out with meal order within 12 minutes around 8am which was exceptional...Food: 3/5

Speakers outside weren't working so we drove to the first window, struck a very rude young lady who obviously wasn't having a good morning. Don't need to be spoken to like that so we left without purchasing anything. Much better service at Hornby.

I’m surprised this branch is clean, tidy, efficient and quick service. Its a rare service to any Mcdonalds so I give 5 start. At any location I will go it is always filthy and lots of rubbish or probably it is 9.30am and it is not crowded.

Thurs 4th June, I went for dinner with my children. On this evening they were short staffed and even though you could do you your order via the kiosk meals were picked from the counter, which was fine..but what I couldn't understand was that our meals came in takeaway bags even though we were eating in. So why couldn't McDonald's provide trays? By giving us four people takeaway bags over trays have done nothing to help the environment. I'm not a greeny as such but the amount of EXTRA rubbish that was made during that time of being short staffed, could have been avoided, and thinking about the amount of people that would have eaten in that night, that's a lot of unnecessary rubbish and cost to McDonald's.

I have had McDonald burger and a large cappuccino for lunch in most Sunday mornings. In the last few lunches, what I was given was essentially half a cup of cappuccino; light, little coffee and mostly bubble milk. Hope this can be improved.Recommended dishesHamburger and Fries

The McDonalds at the airport shopping precinct was very well organised, clean and efficient. The staff member responsible for keeping the dining area clean was doing a great job. It’s a pity not all the McDonalds outlets are not so well organised and hygienic.Food: 5/5
