An excellent value stay that was quite comfy. Every necessary amenity is provided in thoughtfully designed rooms. It was really cozy. Mark was a really helpful and kind man at the front desk. In close proximity to every attraction. Wanaka Lake walking track is a ten-minute walk away. Strongly advised.
This place is lovely. It's a bit outside of the main town of Wanaka, but just a short 25 min walk into town. The rooms are spotless, equipped with a little kitchen with utensils, dishes, coffee, tea and cream; a kitchen table, fan, TV, comfortable bed, great shower, shampoo and lotion, fluffy towels, extra covers and pillows, and a extra chairs for lounging. There's a little back porch for sitting outside in the evening or having lunch. I can't say enough about how cute and homey this place is after a long hike and needing a place to crash for several days. Mark and his team are so accommodating and attentive to anything you might need. At one point, I went into town to grab a few groceries and browse and came back to coffee and cream replenished and all my dishes washed up. I felt like I was living in the lap of luxury! So well taken care of, but without being disturbed at all during the day. This motel is a little slice of heaven.
A very comfortable stay with good pricing.nnRooms are very well thought of with All needful amenities in place. Felt very comfortable. Mark at the reception was very friendly and helpful. The cleaning staff are doing great job keeping the room and place clean. Special Thanks to them.nnLocation is very strategic. Close to All attractions. 10mins walk to walking trail near the Wanaka Lake. Highly recommend and will stay again.nn14 Feb 2024
We arrived to fine our room had been upgraded to a studio, what a great start! Really friendly helpful owners, handy laundry and outside line, very quiet, easy walks around the lake with fantastic views and friendly locals to chat with. Everything we could have needed, very clean, good bed, lots of warmth. Plenty of space and good off road parking. Close to the Wanaka shops and lake frontage. Very happy with this and will come back next trip for sure.
My mom and I had a great stay there. Big and cozy room at a handy location. Owner was so friendly and helpful, would recommend here to anyone who visits Wanaka!
