My husband and I stayed in a 2 bedroom chalet for 4 nights during the Wings over Wanaka event.nIt was just perfect.nClean, tidy, lovely views and just far enough away from town to not be amongst the chaos of a very busy time but also in easy walking distance too.nThe owners of the property were very welcoming and if we needed anything extra they were happy to help.nI watched these ladies working very hard during my stay and I think they deserve 10 stars!
Love everything here! This place is awesome, the friendly lady warmly welcomed us. This is simply the best place in our 2-week in NZ. Fantastic facilities, big kitchen, super neat and clean in every aspect. Surprisingly, there's even a rice cooker and washing machine!
Staying in Wanaka toward the end of our New Zealand adventure, we stayed at the Golfcourse Road Chalets and wow... How awesome was that. From the moment we arrived we felt warmly welcomed, and the facilities were presented beautifully. Listening to the owners stories and receiving local advice was super. If you want a nice relaxing stay when in Wanaka, I wouldn't look anywhere else. We had the spa room that overlooked the lake, what an awesome stay.
Stunning Location, Exceptional Hosts, Memorable StaynnOur 2 chalets at 'Golfcourse Road Chalets' were simply magical and so comfortable. Shonna was kind and friendly and the views were simply stunning. Each chalets had 2 bedrooms with attached bathrooms and ours on the ground floor had an amazing spa tub. The rooms were spacious, bright, well-equipped and well-ventilated - great large rooms with heaps of space and large windows to bring in the beautiful outside. We just loved the feeling of indulgent breathtaking views, our morning coffee with the mountains nad the mist, the easy access to town centre and ample parking. Memorable stay!
I only stayed here for a night, so not sure about other things but that was the worst sleep I had over the past week. Their beds are horrible. It creaks whenever you move an inch. The cheap spring mattress doesn't provide any support whatsoever. Didn't enjoy my stay at all. Slept tired, woke up even more tired
