Our stay here was very enjoyable. The room was very spacious and was like walking into annew room all together. Everything was spotless and kudos to the cleaning staff as well. The manager Jack really went above and beyond and sent me many places to visit in Wanaka which came in very handy. Janice was also very helpful and accommodating.nThe scenic route we took from Te Anau to Wanaka was breathtaking and would highly recommend this route but do this before dark as it could be challenging.nWould highly recommend this place

The layout was perfect for three of us, with two comfortable bedrooms, a family area, and a kitchen that made our stay so convenient.nThe property’s location is fantastic—just a short walk to the lake, which adds to the charm and serenity of the place. Check-in was smooth and hassle-free, and the staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming, making us feel right at home.nIf you’re looking for a beautiful, well-equipped chalet in Wanaka, this is a place you’ll truly love!
We stayed at Archway Motels and Chalets in Wanaka and absolutely loved it! nnI called on the noon of check-in to ask about a late-night arrival, and they were super accommodating. I was sent clear, easy-to-follow instructions on how to check in after hours. I hadn’t even paid yet booked via Agoda, but they still went ahead and allotted us a room - no questions asked.nnThe location was perfect too with restaurants, supermarkets, and lovely walking spots all within easy reach.nnWe checked in around 8pm reception closes at 8:30pm and were greeted by Jacqui, the receptionist, who was one of the sweetest, kindest, and most helpful people we’ve met on our trip. She happily chatted with us, shared great local recommendations on where to eat and explore, and was just as warm the next morning when we left. She even told us we could use a parking spot on-site if we wanted to wander around before heading off.nnOur room was part of the new building and it was awesome: clean, cozy, with a comfy bed and pillows, a modern bathroom, and great facilities overall. We wish we could’ve stayed longer, but we were off to Queenstown the next day.nnHighly, highly recommended. Perfect combo of location, comfort, and genuine hospitality!
I stayed one night at Archway Motels & Chalets in Wanaka and really enjoyed my time there. The room was spotless and felt welcoming, and the check-in and check-out process couldn’t have been easier. I also really appreciated having parking available right there — very convenient after a long drive! The location is perfect too. It’s only a short walk to the lake, which made it easy to enjoy the beautiful Wanaka views and go for a peaceful stroll in the morning. Overall, it was a comfortable, quiet, and relaxing stay. I’d definitely choose this place again next time I’m in town. Highly recommended!
My husband and I stayed one night here last week, and I can’t begin to describe how impressed we were with everything.nThe Room - we stayed in one of their new rooms 6 months old and it was absolutely perfect. The room was spotless, clean, tidy, modern and provided everything we need. I loved the facade of the building, very nicely designed and the dedicated carpark was super helpful. I felt very comfortable staying here and wish we stayed longer.nnService - Mike checked us in and he was a delight to speak with. A truly lovely man and made that initial impression all the better. I lost my sunglasses in the evening and was surprised to discover that someone handed them into reception and that just made the experience all the more positivenLocation - cannot be faulted, walking distance to Lake Wanaka and the main township.nnI will 100% be returning to stay here next time.
