We had a wonderful stay at Archway Motel Wanaka. The room was spotless, comfortable, and very well equipped with everything we needed. You can tell a lot of thought has gone into the small details that make guests feel welcome.nnThe facilities were excellent, especially the spa and playground, which our family really enjoyed. The newer part of the property is modern, stylish, and beautifully maintained.nnThe location is convenient, the atmosphere is peaceful, and the reception was friendly and helpful. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Wanaka.
Best motel we’ve stayed at throughout our entire 2 week trip through the south island. Studio room was spacious and clean. The kitchen was well equipped, with cutlery and crockery for all your cooking needs. The owner at the reception was also very warm and receptive, giving us local recommendations and made our stay extremely pleasant. Would stay here again if I ever visit Wanaka again!
Good stay for a family. You can get family suites for more than two people. Location was good for quick access to shopping and restaurants, even when walking down the hill into town. The office service was great, very helpful! Parking was specific to your room. Nice town to stay in see the lake tree, enjoy the lake walk and avoid crowded Queenstown, plus to get there you're driving through wine country.
Was originally meant to stay at Peppers Lake Tekapo but after 1 night we left early and headed here and it was better. The room was clean and modern as it has just recently been renovoted. We had a lovely stay and it was close to town and all the shops. Wished we booked this for the 2 nights instead of Peppers. Would definitely come back and stay here again.
Our stay here was very enjoyable. The room was very spacious and was like walking into annew room all together. Everything was spotless and kudos to the cleaning staff as well. The manager Jack really went above and beyond and sent me many places to visit in Wanaka which came in very handy. Janice was also very helpful and accommodating.nThe scenic route we took from Te Anau to Wanaka was breathtaking and would highly recommend this route but do this before dark as it could be challenging.nWould highly recommend this place
