Mac Roast

This place clearly has new owners and sad. The meat and crackling was the best. Now, dry and dry. They did better in the potatoes, but that does not make up for bad crackling and dry meat. I will sadly no longer be coming back as why would I pay for dry food when it was frat before for the same price.

I order delivery from here often. I usually get the large pork roast. It’s always a big portion, with plenty of gravy and the right amount of potato, pumpkin and veges. The crackling is always great too. This order I got the bread and butter pudding with custard and it was absolutely delicious. I will try to go to the store more often so all money goes to the owner and not a delivery provider. I’ll definitely be ordering again. Best roast in CBD.

Ordered takeaway, was bit disappointed with the gravy as it was way too salty.

Couldn’t go in store, containers at door displaying size are different size to what you actually get, meat pork super chewy, nothing taste fresh, still cost $17, do not recommend

The longest I have ever waited for a Roast Pork Dinner at this place, half an hour just not on, we were going to do a phone order. Meal was okay, vegies half raw and not hot enough....

As James says below, the owners are genuinely lovely people, welcoming and friendly. The meals are are step up from the usual roast-in-a-bun options at most other places with a generous belong of deliciously cooked meat in a decent sized crusty baguette. I stopped in one evening after work for a quick bite and was pleasantly surprised by both the quality and portion size, and was definitely happy with the reasonable price. I'll definitely go back.

Decent food, nothing to complain about.

First time I've ever had to wait so long for a ready roast and probably the highest price I've ever paid for a roast. Food was okay, crackling was good. Not alot of seating if you want to eat in.
