I would have loved to give ratings but just holding myself to give only four as there were too many flies/insects or mosquitoes near our table. It was irritating. I hope they'll resolve this issue at the earliest. The staff were very helpful and friendly! I will definitely visit this place again soon.

Still can’t believe I paid almost 19 dollars for this... not tasty. Tiny piece of bread which was also completely burnt... Portion is too small it’s not a fine dining.... customer service is non-existing ... To answer your comment - what I ordered could be seen on the photo attached. I ordered it today lunch time. And my name is written with a capital M at the beginning, thank you.

I joined the short coffee course in AUT, quite good experience!

Came here for lunch one day when they were doing a deal, buy something and get a pastry for free. I grabbed a lamb curry and a mixed berry cheesecake and both were super delicious! Really enjoyed the curry and the cheesecake was so smooth and yummy. Great if you are on the go to as they have a separate section where you can grab your own meal from the fridge and take away. Will definitely be back for more.

Very slow service for an empty Cafe at the time of our visit. Chocolate frappe tasted like it was watered down. If it wasn't in the middle of a university hub, I don't think this cafe would survive . Pleasant Cafe staff and clean Cafe.

I only go there because I have no other choice. They usually cater for AUT staff during special functions, meetings or AUT guests. The food quality is very poor. Meals are tasteless and fish is inedible. Portion sizes are smaller than a fine dining restaurant. KFC & Mc donalds are far better!

Servings were small this is not fine dining! and the staff were mostly apathetic, it seemed like we were an inconvenience rather than customers. We were rushed to order, server returned twice in 3 minutes. Once it arrived we were mostly disappointed. Had to ask for water and we're just given a glass. Food tasted OK. Piko Café has continually improved over the past few years. It’s focus on creating a great atmosphere and above average café cuisine makes it a great place to meet for lunch or a quick snack. Piko operates with a professional kitchen that provides training opportunities for students at Auckland University of Technology AUT. It can be found on the university campus just of Wellesley Street East, near Auckland Art Gallery.

Great burger, but the fries ... possibly best I've ever had!
