Lovelock Track

Damn used to be such a good track.nAuckland council renewed the track and added lane bars and the lights no longer go on before sunlight….nIf you’re running early before the sun comes out. You can hardly see the lane bars, it’s pretty dangerous. We seen an older man crash into one earlier in the week. Hopefully they get removed

Great track for walking, running or athletics. We use it regularly leisurely or through kids athletics. Recently had a fresh upgrade, plenty parking and public toilets.

Track was nicely relayed but added lane bars blocking 4 out of 6 lanes are a real nuisance. The athletic club has ability to remove and lock them again which means vast majority of the time the track is inefficiently used. Not a fair outcome if you are a public user and ratepayer.

Nice and tidy, lots of parking. Good size path around the outside of the track. Gets pretty busy here. Only negative is not enough toilets.

Under the purple and orange red sky . i Really enjoy the early morning birds and watching the sky change from dusk to Dawn at lovelock track. Many up early am to exercise even the ducks
