Hands down one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a sports facility. I booked the court, paid in full, and have played here multiple times with the same shoes—never once was it an issue. But suddenly today the staff decided to act strict for no reason and refused to let me and my friend play because our shoes were “not badminton shoes.”nnLet’s be honest: who books again and again and re-reads the entire terms and conditions every single time? If this rule was so serious, it should’ve been clearly stated or enforced consistently from day one—not sprung on us randomly after taking our money.nnBut the worst part? The manager’s attitude was straight-up rude. No respect, no help, no professionalism. Instead of explaining or offering any solution, he behaved like he was doing us a favour by talking to us. Completely unacceptable.nnMy time, money, and effort were all wasted because of poor communication and a manager who clearly doesn’t know how to talk to customers.nWould never recommend this place to anyone!!
Had an awesome time playing at this badminton center with a group of friends—it was exactly what we were looking for!nnWe booked a session around 5:30pm and were pleasantly surprised to find the place almost completely empty. It felt like we had the whole space to ourselves, which made the experience even better. No waiting around, no crowds—just pure game time.nnThere were plenty of courts available, and they were all really well-maintained. The floors were clean, the lines were clear, and the lighting was bright without being harsh. You can tell the place is kept in good condition, which makes a big difference when you’re trying to have a solid game. It definitely meets the standard of what you’d want in a proper badminton court—nothing flashy, just reliable, clean, and ready to play.nnThe vibe was chill and low-key, which was perfect for our group. We were able to just focus on playing and enjoying ourselves without distractions. It’s the kind of place you’d want to come back to regularly—whether you’re a casual player or just looking for a fun and easy way to stay active with friends.nnIf you’re after a simple, high-quality, and stress-free place to play badminton, I’d definitely recommend checking this place out. Great value, great condition, and a great time all around. We’re already planning our next session here!
I had an extremely unpleasant experience at All Stars Badminton also know as Li-Ning located 443 East Tamaki Road. The owner, Dev, consistently displays rude, dismissive, and unprofessional behaviour. The way he communicates with customers shows a complete lack of respect or basic courtesy, and the way he spoke to me was absolutely unacceptable.nnAs a long-time customer who genuinely cared about the success of this business, I have to say that a major change in attitude is urgently needed. This is a business, not a personal kingdom. When dealing with customers, you should act like a professional manager, not an authoritarian ruler. The behaviour I witnessed today was far from what any customer should have to tolerate.nnOn top of that, the business practices feel very unclear and misleading. I was charged extra fees with no proper explanation, and when I asked about it, I was met with hostility instead of transparency. The way the charges were handled felt extremely questionable and left me concerned about potentially misleading or fraudulent-seeming business practices.nnYou’ve shown no intention to address valid concerns or accept constructive feedback. Simply deleting negative reviews or rebranding the court won’t solve the underlying issue, your attitude. Unless that fundamental aspect changes, every other effort will remain pointless.nnLet me be very clear: this is not a threat, this is honest, constructive feedback. When new badminton courts open in East Tamaki, customers will gravitate toward places that treat them with respect and transparency. It’s simply how customer service works.nnPlease take this as genuine feedback from someone who once believed in your service. I hope you reflect on this and choose to engage with your customers with the professionalism they deserve.nnAnd finally, I truly wish I could give ZERO stars. We’ve come here many times before with no issues, but today we were suddenly told that our shoes “did not meet requirements” and were informed we had to pay a $60 fine. We ended up leaving without even playing. This felt like a complete rip-off. Trying to book again and they have banned my whole group as one person had the incorrect shoes even though this is a complete new booking with no relation to them and another group of members attending to play.nnI would absolutely not recommend this place to anyone until the attitude, professionalism, and transparency improve significantly.nnDefinitely laundering money or some sort of fraudulent activity going on here. Will be passing this onto the police.
I was quite disappointed with my recent experience. The staff displayed an unprofessional attitude and a lack of respect toward customers. During our interaction, they seemed impatient, gave brief and unhelpful responses, and made no effort to clearly explain the issues I asked about.nnSuch poor communication made it difficult for me to understand the process as well as my own rights. For a business that wants to keep its customers, customer service needs to be much clearer and more considerate. This was an experience that left me extremely disappointed and angry because of the staff’s behavio
Extremely disappointing experience at NZ Badminton Center.nWe booked a court from 6:30–7:30 PM, arrived on time, but the lights were off and no one informed us why.nCalls were ignored. Eventually, a man claiming to be the manager said the lights weren’t on because I wasn’t wearing “proper shoes”—even though I had Yeezy 550s on. I changed into other sports shoes, but by then it was already 7:22.nWe were only allowed 6 minutes of play, with no apology, no refund, and terrible attitude. The manager even kept flicking the lights on and off, which felt borderline hostile. Completely unprofessional. Avoid this place unless you enjoy being treated with zero respect.nWhere's your customer service? The Indian manager said“if you don't want play you can go”
