Had an awesome time playing at this badminton center with a group of friends—it was exactly what we were looking for!nnWe booked a session around 5:30pm and were pleasantly surprised to find the place almost completely empty. It felt like we had the whole space to ourselves, which made the experience even better. No waiting around, no crowds—just pure game time.nnThere were plenty of courts available, and they were all really well-maintained. The floors were clean, the lines were clear, and the lighting was bright without being harsh. You can tell the place is kept in good condition, which makes a big difference when you’re trying to have a solid game. It definitely meets the standard of what you’d want in a proper badminton court—nothing flashy, just reliable, clean, and ready to play.nnThe vibe was chill and low-key, which was perfect for our group. We were able to just focus on playing and enjoying ourselves without distractions. It’s the kind of place you’d want to come back to regularly—whether you’re a casual player or just looking for a fun and easy way to stay active with friends.nnIf you’re after a simple, high-quality, and stress-free place to play badminton, I’d definitely recommend checking this place out. Honestly this place sucks. I went there on a weekly basis for almost a year with my friend, paying their extremely steep court hiring fee between the two of us. They then recently decided to enforce the need to wear “ badminton shoes” to use their courts. I eventually got some from their own online store. It said they should be ready by the following day. I waited a few days with no update. I then emailed them to ask if the order was ready but got no reply. I therefore went out of my way to go there and check on my order. They literally have one size for the pair I bought and don’t know when they will get more. Best they could do was trying to sell me another pair for close to double the price. Do better, if you are gonna charge so much for the use of your facility and enforce rules requiring members to spend even more money, then the least you can do is update your website and reply to emails. I wonder if they were ever going to tell me my order was unavailable.

We had an absolutely terrible experience at this badminton facility. We made a reservation and paid $60 expecting to enjoy a proper session, but what we got was a complete disaster. During our reserved time, the staff suddenly turned off the lights without any warning or valid explanation. We wasted so much time and energy trying to figure out what was going on.nnThe worst part? The Indian manager was extremely rude and unprofessional. Instead of offering any kind of help or solution, he was arrogant and dismissive. He claimed that one of our six players was wearing inappropriate shoes — Yeezys — and used that as a reason to keep the lights off. Seriously? That’s just beyond unreasonable.nnWe tried to explain and resolve the issue, but they had no intention of working with us. In the end, we only played 8 minutes out of the entire booked session. The rest of the time was spent dealing with their nonsense. It felt like a scam — taking our money and giving us nothing in return.nnWe are extremely disappointed, angry, and frustrated. This was a huge waste of money and time, and we will never return. Stay far away from this place unless you want to be treated with disrespect and leave feeling ripped off.

Extremely disappointing experience at NZ Badminton Center.nWe booked a court from 6:30–7:30 PM, arrived on time, but the lights were off and no one informed us why.nCalls were ignored. Eventually, a man claiming to be the manager said the lights weren’t on because I wasn’t wearing “proper shoes”—even though I had Yeezy 550s on. I changed into other sports shoes, but by then it was already 7:22.nWe were only allowed 6 minutes of play, with no apology, no refund, and terrible attitude. The manager even kept flicking the lights on and off, which felt borderline hostile. Completely unprofessional. Avoid this place unless you enjoy being treated with zero respect.nWhere's your customer service? The Indian manager said“if you don't want play you can go”

As a long-time customer who genuinely cares about the success of your business. I must say that a change in attitude is urgently needed. This is a business—not a personal kingdom. When communicating with customers, you should act like a professional manager, not an authoritarian ruler.nnYou’ve shown no intention to address valid concerns or accept constructive feedback. Simply deleting negative reviews or rebranding the court won’t solve the underlying issue—your attitude. Unless that fundamental aspect changes, these efforts are ultimately pointless.nnLet me be clear: this is not a threat, but a sincere warning. The moment a new badminton court opens in East Tamaki, I guarantee the impact on your business will be immediate and noticeable.nnPlease treat this not as a threat, but as honest feedback from a customer who once believed in your service.
