Loch Haven, Lake Tekapo

Would suit someone who doesn't mind basic facilities and fairly decent for the price range. Certainly needs a good revamp to attract a higher end market position. It has potential but needs some TLC and attention to detail in its presentation and showing its age. However the beds were comfortable and it did the job. It was tidy,but not overly clean nor hygienic in some respects. Especially when you find the previous clients dirty towels still in the wash tub. It a pity the indoor swimming pool was out of commission and that we were not made aware of this fact, however the hot tub made up for the issue, although it was a completely different colour and model to the one in the pictures posted online strangely. We had seemed to have an older one? Either that or it had been painted. Good luck to the landlord however if they need to repair the said indoor swimming pool as it looks like it might be a very expensive job.... Maybe they could put up the rent if the interior was improved to an extent that it could attract a higher end market position and give them the funds to do the big repair and update to the indoor pool.Just a thought.

A+++ Family friendly for us. Everything we needed was there, clean and tidy and comfortable stay. We loved the spa and the kids were keen on the pool in Winter Wim Hof Winter pool experience. Loved our stay, we'll be back. Highly recommend, thanks team.

We were very impressed with this extremely tidy, affordable, comfortable and attractive holiday home. Easily accommodated our large family, great views to the lake, and was fantastic relaxing in the spa while the kids played in the indoor swimming pool. Lovely warm feel to the home and modern. Easy walk to the village, even for smaller kids. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great holiday home to stay in Tekapo. We will be back.

Cosy place to stay in the middle of winter. Too cold to enjoy the indoor swimming pool or spa pool for us but i'm sure this would be worthwhile in the warmer months. The gas fire really does a great job and makes this place very pleasant.

Nice and tidy holiday house. Spa is amazing and there's an indoor pool. There wasn't any washing powder for the washing machine and no dryer which is challenging in winter. All is forgiven by the amazing view and neat interior.

We stayed at the cheriton cottage. Comfortable and warm. Easily accommodated 4 adults and two children. The shower has good pressure but keep them short if you have a house full or the last couple of people will have cold ones. The kitchen is reasonably well equipped but is lacking a large pot and a potato peeler! My one criticism is the 2nd double bed - its not the most comfortable :

Gorgeous house with plenty of space for all. Pool and spa are awesome. Would definitely recommend this holiday house to anyone wanting to stay in Tekapo. Will be staying here again!

The condition of the place needs to be improved, considering the price of the place. However it can house a large group 8+ and the spa and view are a great combo.

Fun stay with a good family layout Clean and tidy and good location close to Tekapo township. Great TV and WIFI and nicely modern throughout.

This is the first place I check out for accommodation in Lake Tekapo. The best service and best units. Every year when we take annual family trip to Lake Tekapo, we just have to go with these guys.
