Discover Tekapo Accommodation

We would like to give more than 5 stars to the entire team at Discover Tekapo. We were caught out by booking into a very badly advertised place for a night we were very fortunate that they not only had a wonderful place available, but also that they allowed us to check in early. Every interaction we had with them was another excellent example of fantastic customer service. We Will be back and will book through them again. If you are looking for a great getaway to Lake Tekapo, do yourself a favour, and utilize their great business. You won't be disappointed. Michael and Carole

My hubby and I stayed at the Red Nest for 3 nights, nice and cosy space! While it was unfortunate thatI fell sick and we couldn’t do much, I wanted to thank the staff Alex, William who provided much needed help via email for the medical centre during the weekend. Discover Tekapo were great to deal with, good communication and made our check-in process very simple, as we were arriving after hours, 5/5 for Discover Tekapo. House was lovely and clean and warm and had everything we needed. View of the lake and mountains from the top level and deck was lovely

Great experience with Discover Tekapo, booking was easy, pick up instructions were simple and far too easy. The accommodation was clean and had a great view. Would highly recommend these guys

I've reviewed on Airbnb but I thought Discover Tekapo Accommodation deserves public recognition! The staff are friendly, helpful and gave recommendations on less touristy places that we could consider venturing to since we planned to stay at Tekapo for 3 nights. Importantly, the accommodation we stayed was amazing spacious, great unobstructed views, clean, well equipped with a huge electric fireplace, everything you could ask for. We drove for a mere 5 minutes in complete darkness before reaching the lake itself to enjoy southern lights and the Milky Way too! We left slightly later than the check-out time and the staff were nice about it. Thank you for creating such lovely memories!

We have been using Discover Tekapo for our Tekapo accommodation for 6 or 7 years now. The team are amazing to deal with, booking confirmations are almost immediate, communication is easy and frequent via email and the standard of the accommodation is superb. All places we have stayed are very clean and tidy and if there are any issues they are dealt with straight away. Check in is seamless and it’s always great to see Alex’s friendly face again. I can highly recommend using Discover Tekapo for your next Tekapo visit. We won’t use anyone else.

Check-in was easy and fast. The apartment we had, Designer Cabin was amazing. It was much more spacious than we anticipated. The apartment is literally on the lake just a minute walk from the church of the good shepherd. There were detailed instructions for everything which made life easy. Can’t recommend highly enough!!

I have been staying at dog-friendly properties managed by Discover Tekapo for a while now. Their service is great, check-in process seamless and their dog-friendly properties perfect for spending a few days exploring the many amazing trails in the area. Alex and her team have been so helpful and kind and I highly recommend this service.
