Liquid Laundromat Mornington Dunedin

Wish there was a provision of single use laundry powder sachets like all previous laundromats I've used. I am accustom to laundry powder vending machines being available on site. I'm travelling from Sydney and only require one time use, but had to buy a 1kg laundry powder from the nearby Countdown. Also witnessed one of the other customers getting their liquid card jammed in the machine.

It's expected because it a 24hour laundromat that there's clothes left in machines and could do with some TLC. but for it to be open 24hours to the community. I'm from Melbourne Australia and we have the same concept only we don't need to buy a blue card we use our credit/eftpos cards but hey business is business and I say 5 out of 5 for being open it has heaps of machines and it fits my schedule coming at midnight to wash and dry my clothes so 5 out of 5

Good amount of parking. Good amount of commercial washing machines, and pricing is in line with other companies.nnHowever, card system they have is horrible, and while they say they are continuously evaluating different options, they have said that for years. Loading card in $10 increments works fine for regular users. For any traveler, you are guaranteed to pay extra as there's plenty of leftover value.nnA simple change - say, always require at least $10 top-up, but allow any sum above it - would be all that's necessary to avoid this. Obviously for the company leftover value is awesome as it is basically a gift from customers.

Only with liquid laundromat card. Can be topped up in 10$ increments. Money will be stuck in the card from there on.nnNot good, if you want to use it just once.

Great self laundry. Very nice new washers and dryers. Place is very neat and tidy. Great opening times: 7days, 5am - 11am. Would always come back. Also one large washer for animal blankets only available
