Dunedin Holiday Park and Motels

We arrived in a self contained camper...but had access to all amenities. Dump stations and water filling and powered sites.nGood showers and bathrooms. Laundry was great to do washing. Very clean holiday park.nFamily friendly with very good facilities...friendly helpful staff. Easy access to sites. We will be back next time we are down south.

A great holiday park! fun artwork & quirky wood characters to brighten up your stay. Easy booking, friendly helpful staff. Didn’t rate the rooms or facilities as hubby & I stayed here in our self contained caravan. The campground is quiet, clean & tidy and is handy to shops & petrol station. There is also a shop onsite for basic groceries & takeaways which are very nice. This is our second stay. Highly recommended. Enjoy, your stay, you won’t be disappointed.nThankyou DHPnAlso it’s pet friendly.

Not a bad spot! For the most part the unpowered campsites are flat, but some aren’t but you chose your spot anyway. Beach is close by too. Town is a little further away but you can get on the bus which stops outside the front. Wifi worked pretty well. Communal areas were pretty nice too. I think the only part I didn’t like was at night the area to get to the bathrooms etc is a tad creepy.

The campground has everything you really need. The staff are friendly, the facilities are clean, and the sites are spacious enough with a bit of wind protection. However, it feels like no major visible upgrades haven't been made since around 1990.nnIf you compare it to Waipu Cove on the North Island—which has a similar size and location—you definitely get more value for money up there. This place is fine for a stay, but it could really benefit from some modernisation.

Our group stayed here in the lodge for a softball tournament over the weekend.nThe facilities were great. Clean rooms, kitchen & dining. The holiday park as a whole was brilliant & i can't fault the lodge at all. Staff were extremely friendly upon arrival & informative & helpful.
