Law Courts Hotel

Bad experience.. look at menu - toasted sandwich and kūmara fries $13-50.. had it before as described.. not this time- no sandwich.complain to manager and he tried to explain himself out of it. Make your own mind up!!staff great though

Hotel looking good to me, but the restaurant served us the under cooked pork,terrible, very disappointed. She did come & ask,but no action taken & jz walked away wen we told her.very bad

Fantastic view from the room Breakfast was abit disappointing toast was burnt and eggs were hard but I'm sure if I had mentioned it they would've redone them. I didn't ask so can't be fussy if you don't ask besides that it seemed ok to me. I would visit there again Asthetically interesting in a good way

Convenient to shops and bars/restaurants.....also bus hub was handy .... was perfect for me and my sisters weekend in Dunedin, the staff were friendly and helpful especially the barman Dean Rooms: 3/5

Slept in here and they were nice and served good food and beer and made my bed both nights I stayed here.Rooms: 3/5

Let's preface this with: the rooms were clean, the towels soft and the bed good. Aside from that the rooms need a bit of maintenance. If all you are doing is sleeping there this will be ok. Don't drink the breakfast coffee... And the breakfast buffet was the saddest one I've seen.Rooms: 2/5

My son & I went for dinner on the 22 Dec. Staff were Friendly, and the service was spot on. I was very impressed by how the staff interacted with my very busy four-year-old son. These interactions made him feel welcome and set the stage for a pleasant evening. The Meals we ordered were delicious. The Roast beef was the highlight. It was tender, and the homemade gravy was true to its name. We are looking forward to our next visit.

Ordered Lamb Shanks and Vegetables. The meat was beautiful, tender and the meat just fell off the bone So good!! Very helpful restaurant staff and awesome very polite young man serving drinks in the bar. Lovely establishment

We really enjoyed our visit to this iconic Dunedin pub. Friendly staff, great selection of wines and beers, and the food is very good. This was a great find. We had the roast beef, beautiful delicious beef, full veges and lashings of gravy. Wow! Beef was tender, served with horseradish sauce too, and veges perfectly cooked. Generous servings, piping hot, washed back with an Emerson’s Pilsner. 2 X huge Roasts, glass of chardonet, pint of beer = $60! Unbeatable. Highly recommended. They do roast of the day every day.

Went for lunch and catch up with friends. Place was pretty empty so got seats easy and served prompt. It was a pretty god selection of food and I got the fish and chips. Battered fish. It was relly good. The others got weiner schnitzel. They said it was good. Also a good selection of drinks in the bar which you just take through to your food.
