It’s holiday season so I can understand that staffs must be so busy and sometimes feel exhausted. But this is not reason that we haven’t received any good service even a smile from your receptionist.nHer name is Amandanot sure if I see the right name, a lady with medium length black hair and square shape glasses. We watched the ads from YouTube and first time come here, so we not familiar with where to find everything like kitchen and shower etc. She was really impatient and rolled her eyes on us when we asked some more questions. She NEVER smile at any customer, after we checked in, I stayed a bit longer to get ready and I saw her serve another group of customer, same rude attitude.nWhen we checked out, there is another young lady who helps us, she is really nice and have smile on her face all the time. But with a glimpse of Amanda, she still has a poker face on her and seems really tired. It’s 9am in the morning!nThe facility is good, due to the large numbers of customer, I can always see the cleaning staff trying their best. So even there has some water on the bench, we still can understand it. We will definitely bring kids back because they love the hydro slide and pool. Just not a big fan of seeing poker face staff again.
We spent 4 days and 3 nights at Lake Taupo Holiday Resort, and it was an amazing experience! The camping site was very clean, and we stayed at a powered site.nnThe bathroom, shower facilities, and shared fridge were all convenient to use and kept spotless. The highlight of our stay was definitely the swimming pool. It was fantastic, and the water slide was so much fun! We also loved the outdoor movie screenings—it added a unique touch to our evenings.nnThere were plenty of activities for the kids, including mini golf, which we all enjoyed together. Overall, it felt like the best camping spot in New Zealand. Highly recommended for families!
We had the pleasure of staying in one of the Villas for 4 nights The Villa was very nice and immaculately clean. The kids had an absolute blast in the pool and activities on offer. While it is pricey for accommodation, food and cocktails we will definitely be visiting again. Have read some reviews complaining about the cleanliness of the resort in the toilet and kitchen facilities however we found the resort overall was clean and tidy on the grounds. Only complaint would be the amount of people packed into the camp grounds. The pool was full to limit most of the time. We loved our holiday there especially staying in their Villa
My family and I spent 3 nights in a cabin at the Lake Taupo Holiday Resort and we just had the best time. The pool is amazing. Hydo-slides. Movies. The bar. The cave with the diving pool... it was just awesome. The place was clean as a whistle and the staff were super friendly. We will definitely be back
Stayed twice in one month time, had totally different experience. The first time was off peak, everything was clean and not crowded, the pool water was clean and it was so relaxing. The second time was terrible. The park was so overwhelmed. There wasn't enough space in the kitchen and the pool was absolutely overwhelmed, full of people. The kitchen and the bathroom are dirty almost all the time. The pool water was dirty too. Very disappointed. Fortunately, it is close to the AC Bath, where we finally got a bit rewind.nnTo sum up, it's a perfect holiday destination if it's not the peak season. But during the peak season, it is terrible .
