The seating is comfortable, and it’s an ideal spot to unwind before or after a flight.nnThe almond croissant was absolutely fantastic flaky, buttery, and full of flavour. The coffee was smooth and enjoyable , pairing perfectly with the pastries.nnThey also offer a good selection of sandwiches , and the pies are definitely worth trying. The pastry was wonderfully crisp and golden, with that satisfying crunch in every bite. Friendly service, quality food, and a convenient location make this café a great stop whether you’re travelling or simply looking for a nice place to relax.

A lovely café in South Auckland with a warm and cozy atmosphere.nnWe tried the Tiramisu French Toast, Truffle & Ricotta Gnocchi, Korean Fried Chicken Bowl, and Tiramisu Latte, and honestly, everything was delicious.nnThe Tiramisu French Toast was the standout for me — soft, fluffy, and packed with rich tiramisu flavours without being overly sweet. The Truffle & Ricotta Gnocchi was creamy and full of flavour, while the Korean Fried Chicken Bowl was fresh, balanced, and satisfying.nnThe Tiramisu Latte was also a great surprise and paired perfectly with the food.nnFriendly service, beautiful presentation, and a great overall dining experience. Definitely a place I'll be coming back to. Highly recommend!

I really enjoyed dining at Kawau Kitchen. All the staff were friendly and super accommodating – I've not met staff as enthusiastic to welcome diners as the folks here. Upon getting to my table, the server immediately brought a jug of service water, too. Food was lovely - portion was huge and flavours were great. I had the fried chicken benny and it was so delicious! I would drive all the way south from the Shore for their food.

My colleague and I went for breakfast on 2 consecutive morning, quite impressed with food quality and presentation. Cafe was also quite sophisticated and arty. Service was responsive and efficient. We will definitely revisit when we have to go back to the airport for work.

This is probably one of the best cafés near Auckland Airport. We ordered the truffle and ricotta gnocchi, fried chicken, strawberry matcha latte, and a flat white, everything tasted great. The food and drinks were well prepared, and we really enjoyed our meal. Will definitely visit again if we're in the area.
