We had a lovely evening at Kawau Bay Kitchen last night. The cocktails were top notch, the espresso martini was the best I have had in a very long time. All of the food was cooked to perfection, the lamb rump was a highlight. We will be back!
Friendly staff. Great atmosphere. Food took an incredibly long time to arrive and when it did, we were definitely disappointed to see the two thin pieces of duck breast placed nicely on the plate that we paid $40 for. Food tasted good however the wait and the portion left us a bit hangry.
Good place but kitchen is slow. Not a busy time with only 4 tables. But about half an hour waiting time is a little bit too long. Need to order a little bit more than usual. Dish is not as big as normal.
This may be the best steak I have ever eaten. So yum! Really good service too. Friendly, down to earth and the food came out nice and quick.
This place is one of those must try places as the food, atmosphere and service is exceptional. Photo of the Lamb main. Bookings here is recommended as the more people come to this place they will all come back.

I was just walking along looking at someplace for a Sunday Breakfast and Coffee.. was not disappointed, I was greeted with smiles, served a wonderful Oat Mocha, and had a really yummy Bacon eggs Benedict. The poached eggs were perfect.. I would definitely recommend supporting this little cafe restaurant.. I'll be back..Food: 5/5
What a beautiful place to dine in. My husband and 2 girls enjoyed the ambiance atmosphere in this restaurant. Very attentive friendly staff and the meal was tasty and divine. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing, enjoyable tasty meal with a great customer service. It's worth the money we paid for a family of 4. Portion of the meals was on point..not too small and not too overly plated. The pumpkin ravioli and the pork belly starter is flavorsome and rich. I recommend this dishes. We would definitely go back there. Thank you for a wonderful experience and especially the chef.
Apologies in advance for gushing. The food was cooked to.perfection. There we 11 of us at the table and our food arrived all together. Chicken liver parfait was smooth, velvety and full of flavour. The mussells were in a deliciously light and flavour packed liquid. Not to mention our main courses. Yum , yum , yum. Definately my new fave. Thanks for a wondeful evening
