Small & cosy, welcoming, delicious counter food & menu. Prompt friendly service. Good coffee. Clean bathrooms. A rainy day, but in better weather, can sit outside.

Spent a perfect morning outside in the sunshine enjoying the ambience of the countryside whilst being minutes from town. The menu is varied and well presented. Service was a little slow but it didn't matter for a lazy Sunday morning. Dog friendly too.

Best french toast in town. Great taste and beautiful rural view. Lots of parking place.

Hot damn! Fantastic food, great service. If you're ever out in Halswell Kawa Cafe is well worth stopping in to.

Really nice and friendly service, great coffee

Had the big breakfast on Sunday and it was the best my nephew had ever seen and tasted he said. Staff are great, place is great, and who cares if the service can be a bit slow, the staff are gorgeous and any waiting time is worth the end result. .

Coffee and food is consistently very good. Often they are very busy which can result in a bit of a wait sometimes. The downside of popularity. Nice inside and out.

Fabulous nicely presented food, a great setting and friendly staff. Custard square was divine! Will definitely visit again.

Lovely food delish coffee but found the ants on the tables off putting. A shame as it's a lovely setting. Regardless I will go back hopeing they will have treated the ant problem
