Dominos Pizza Halswell

Pizza here used to be good when this establishment first started, since then the quality of the pizzas have drastically declined. The pizza bases this time around were like chewing on the sole of a jandal and the toppings, if not sparse, were just thrown on. Overall the pizzas weren't pleasant to eat, the star is for their customer service as they have always been polite and prompt with my order each time I've gone to pick it up.

Pretty sure we just got served last nights leftovers. We picked the pizza up less than 10 minutes after ordering and it was stone cold. Some time ago we switched to Dominos in Hornby after being disappointed with the quality at Halswell Dominos even though it's a lot further to drive, the two don't even compare, Hornby Dominos is always hot and fresh, Halswell was stale and cold- the box probably had more flavor. Looking at their other reviews it seems the issue at the Halswell store is systemic. I know I won't be wasting my money there again.

Dominos used to be amazing, but in the last few years, they stopped putting sauces on their pizza, and you have to pay extra for toppings, their large pizza is much smaller and now have to order an extra large which is the size of the old large and makes it much more expensive! Even their extra large doesn't fill the box completely.Food: 3/5

Usually never have a problem but tonight we ordered 2 pizzas and 2 sides delivered. It took 2 hours to get delivered, and it showed up cold. When we rang to ask why and to be given a solution, they said they couldn't give us one and they were rude. We were told the manager was busy and they wouldn't get back to us tonight with a solution. We order from you guys almost weekly.. extremely disappointed

My experience with this dominoes has been absolutely terrible, ordered 2 pizzas last week and when the guy arrived I asked him about the delivery price and he said he was unsure..? Not very professional as I paid for my order in cash not knowing they had charged me $10 just for the delivery. Never coming back here again

Absolutely disgusted by this pizza experience. Very little topping, poor quality base and I thought they had a quality control computer, but obviously that doesn't work. Strongly suggest you go elsewhere for your next pizza. When I called, after we had eaten half, as we were hungry, they said if we drove back with the uneaten pizza they would make it again. Too late for us tonight, as kids needed to eat before bed. Never offered any future voucher, just straight out bad business!!!

Placed an online order for a Vegetarian Pizza only to find when I got home it had meat on it. I called the restaurant who advised I would need to make the drive back to the store to collect another pizza. When I arrived the staff member insisted I keep the pizza I had received which I think is disgusting given the whole reason I’d gone back in the first place. Then the staff member had a laugh in another language to another worker. Certainly won’t return to this store and I’ll take my complaint to head office.

Hi just wanted to say how disappointed I was tonight as my daughter ordered the 33 for 3x pizza and 3x sides delivered. They delivered 3 average looking pizzas and 2x sides said sorry they will bring back the other side. Then charged her $60! She rang and told them and they said sorry they would return the money and the other side. 30min later nothing. She rung again "oh sorry hes having car issues" he will be there in 15min. 30min later nothing. So I had to drive her and her friend to the shop where the man at the counter did apologize however if we had not have gone in I 100% guarante nothing would have happened. I have 3 small kids at home and it was a big inconvenience to me to have to drive there but my daughter was very upset at being charged way too much for the pizzas that were terrible anyway. This isn't the first bad experience at domino's halswell so we will not be returning and will be sure to tell people of the experience.

After tonight's experience I will be surprised if I can ever trust Domino's again. The thin base was like eating the cheapest, plainist tortilla wrap and even that's an insult to the tortilla wrap. After having a nicely timed delivery, it then took over half hour for me to call the Domino's in Halswell to complain, only for the "manager" to hang up on me...RUDE ! Having to drag myself there before my blood pressure exploded and being face to face with the "manager" who blatantly lied to me , I finally got my refund. Don't do it, don't get desperate and sucome to the Domino's in Halswell!

Placed an online order approximately 7.10pm, order online said there was an error and to contact the store to confirm the order had gone through. Money had been taken out of my account. Soni answered the phone, I explained what had happened and he said I could reorder and I should get a refund from the online order which I said was fine. I went to reorder with Soni, but apparently I couldn’t order the same as what I had ordered online, the online error wasn’t my fault why can’t I order the same. I then said can’t it be over ride to make it happen as since online isn’t working which he said it can’t be. I asked another question to then ended in Soni hanging up on me on the phone. I rang back and soni answered, I said you hung up on me and he said yes because I was arguing… obviously I was frustrated with the whole ordeal but I didn’t loose my cool like he suggested I did so I said go back and re hear the recording of our conversation and he’ll hear I was calm. I asked for his manager details which he said call the same number and ask for Ricky being rude in the process. Not happy with the experience and was discussing customer service especially when I had already ordered and paid for my meal I was willing to pay again and wait for the refund. Not a happy customer at all and don’t think I’d want to come Back..
