Just Like Martha

Went to this local Cafe this week to see if the food was as good as it looked. There is usually a large selection of delicious food on display but as it was half an hour before closing time the range was more limited.nnThe coffee was great! Strong and creamy just the way I love my cappuccino to be. The ginger crunch slice was extra gingery without being too sweet. The base was full of nuts and was more like an Anzac biscuit texture. Very pleased with this and would love to return to sample other tasty treats.nnI was surprised that the cafe closed at 3pm. It would benefit from closing later to allow for trade from the local primary school.nnThe staff mopping the floor could easily be done once the customers have left. This aspect created a negative effect that could be managed better.nnOn the whole this local Cafe is well positioned on Mt Eden Rd close to the Three Kings shopping centre and on the bus route. The decor is pleasant and I would happily recommend based on my two visits.

We were greeted straight away with a table which was excellent. The coffees were delicious loved the pink coffee machine! We got beef brisket burgers also. Brisket was so soft and tender. Great selection of cabinet food too. Would come back. Waiter did forget our water though for the table but was extremely apologetic

Fantastic dinner menu - beef sirloin, lamb and fish of the day were all excellent! Sirloin was a standout. Wonderful staff, very hospitable and great wine pairings - recommend visiting for a quiet, relaxed night with spectacular food.

The coffee was great and the Panna cotta on the French toast was delicious. However, I wanted a little snack so I tried to order the fairy bread french toast for $10. The person taking my order nodded and proceeded to charge me for the regular French toast for $26, telling me that adults can't order off the kids menu after i paid without seeing the total my fault for tapping the card without checking the price first. That's completely fine but why nod your head when I asked for the fairy bread toast? I ate the regular toast anyway because I didn't want to cause a fuss. Nobody checked on me to ask how I found the food

I recently had lunch at Just like Martha, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The food was truly outstanding, each dish bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. From appetizers to dessert, every bite was a delight. What truly set this restaurant apart, however, was the exemplary service. The staff were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure that my experience was nothing short of splendid.
