Hotpot Duke

Had a wonderful evening with some friends on a cold and wet winter Auckland night over some delicious hotpot. We opted for two broth flavours - tom yum and chicken broth. The former was better. I particularly enjoyed the sliced meats more. The stations were well maintained and clean. The staff were super friendly too. You order via a QR code so everything was efficient.

Great selection of broths and food/add ons for the hot pot. My personal favourite was the Uyghur tomato base. Love that they offer aprons, gloves and other ammenities which I really wish more hot pot restaurants would offer as well. They also have a delicious shaved ice dessert menu that was the perfect sweet treat after the delicious hot pot.

This is my third time having hot pot at this restaurant. The prices are not high, the ingredients are fresh and the portions are generous.

Trying hot pot for the first time, it's worth a try, a good experience.nMeat and vegetables were neatly laid out and served, Staff were friendly and helpful. Order 4 different meats and couple of salads/ vegetables initially. If you need more you can order later.nYou can prepare your own dipping sauce at the sauce counter.nBetter to book before you go, there are about 6 parking behind the building.

This place is fantastic! The staff were so incredibly helpful and gave us hotpot newbies some awesome recommendations that we might have missed otherwise, they also made sure we didn’t order more than we could handle!nThe decor is really nice, the environment feels really nice too, and on top of all that, the food is absolutely fantastic?! 10/10 would sacrifice sirloin barbie again! Had such a good time!!!
