I’m a health and wellness coach, I help busy people who struggle with energy levels. I help them by creating practical habits and making steps with eating well, moving more and managing overwhelm so they can feel happier, healthier and have more energy
About two years ago I made the decision to prioritise my health. I realised I was nothing without it and life was easier and way more fun when I was loving my body and smiling from the inside out.
What if someone showed me that freedom was closer than I thought? Away from weird digestion and pain, social anxiety, the overwhelm of thoughts and a dysfunctional menstrual cycle. I eventually learned that all of this wasn't a coincidence and it had everything to do with my way too tight, grip on life.
Happiness also became a big priority as I discovered better, more wholesome (sustainable) ways to find it. This for me is doing things I love, as often as I can. I have to constantly remind myself of the things that make my heart sing, that make me feel grounded and free at once.
I’m a believer of eating whole, real food that nourishes me and that no one single diet, suits everyone, all of the time. I am that girl who often checks to see what ingredients are in food before I eat it. I've worked out that I am WAY better off without Gluten and Dairy, as well as processed foods and food that is no longer in it's natural state. I let my food intolerance control me, forget eating out. It took me years to really own it and I'm happy to say that my food choices will continue to evolve.
We are unique, one person's food is another’s poison.
I experienced a huge shift when I got into meditation, I wanted it to help with my focus at work, then pretty quickly it actually changed me and I wanted more. I'm a total advocate. This led me to my LOVE for Yoga and last year I travelled to India (the home of Yoga), to learn more and grow and I became a certified Yoga Teacher.
So I’m all about the daily habits - do what makes you feel good.
For sure, I fall off the bandwagon, life gets in the way and I feel average, I get the flighty anxiety when I haven’t made time for myself and my healthy habits. I get stuck, I have tough days and I get into an anxious hole. Honestly, sometimes all of the tools don’t work and we need to feel the feels and cry or run away from it all.
I now know the steps towards lightness. I do my best to simplify things to reduce anxiety where I can. When I need ‘me’ time, I honour that, I’m getting better at sharing this with my loved ones more often, which helps me and deepens my relationships, which is important!
I have a better understanding of who I am and what I love to do, my heart sings, I get to do some really cool stuff, work with amazing souls and share my journey with you.
I certainly couldn’t do this alone, I’ve needed support from a number of incredible healers and my support team, to hold my hand and tell me my struggles were heard and actually just human.
Another pretty major change was my decision to study and learn more. I studied with the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, in New York and became a Certified Health Coach.
I’m a Health nerd, I’m passionate about sharing my story and helping you re-write yours.
I support you to have the courage to dream big scary dreams and take steps towards your best self. In my programs, I introduce simple steps towards your health goals, offer full support, compassion and accountability, to show you that 'change' is way closer than you think.
