On entry to the store there was loud music pumping from a speaker and staff gathered at the front more interested in dancing around than greeting customers. While I appreciate everyone has different music tastes, the last thing I expect is that everyone likes what I like so I am respectful about the level in which I play it. I couldn't hear myself think let alone have a conversation with anyone and would suggest this is one sure way to turn customers off.
The goods I wanted was as described, and even exceeded my expectation. My in-store experience was not desired. I went to purchase the goods, and there was a guy there a staff member leaning against the counter talking to his female colleague. I waited for about 1 minute and they're still talking. I then asked if he was buying something then realised he was a staff member talking about a personal experience. As I purchased my goods, it turned out that my purchase went through, but their system didn't show it was purchased. I had got my receipt emailed to me. I then had to wait til they tried to sort it out. At the end, they had to do a manual receipt. Needs to be a better service, and customer relations needs a lot of work. I won't be going back to this particular store.
I just had the worst experience ever. Don't remember the guys name. I'm guessing manager or at least supervisor. Goudy I think he said. They were late opening. Time was already 10 past 9. I asked how long before they open. He said I don't know maybe 30 minutes or 1 hour. There was even staff from the mall there trying to find out why they weren't open. He ended up coming out under the not open door and ripped off his store I'd and became aggressive towards me. Yelling and behaving in a threatening manner. Wouldn't even give me his name at first. Suggesting that we walk away from the store so I'm not a customer trying to provoke me into a fight. SHOCKING EXPERIENCE. Should be sacked. Absolutely no excuse for that. Recommend staying well away from this store.
Unnecessarily trying to sale their products to me. Well, we understand some marketing strategies for businesses but there should be on proper way, once customer genuinely denies how ever team in J B hi-fi Lynn mall passes to each other such as oh wait I will get that customer down I literally heard this word from that team member. I am not disclosing name that was in charge girl at that shift.
Brought a Samsung ph from this shop tried it and seemed ok so had a glass screen put on and brought a cover. Then a friend rang me and while talking to her the sound kept going off. I notice when the screen saver went off then the sound went off to. Went back to the shop where they tried it and confirmed it was a faulty ph. They couldn’t reset it back to factory setting like it use to be done a few years ago, they did replace the phone but wouldn’t cover the cost of the glass screen I had put on. I’m almost 80 years old and don’t have money to waste and go out and get another glass screen. I feel the service from this shop right down from the manager and assistant who didn’t have any idea what to do is very poor, and won’t be going back there again if I need to replace any thing. Very disappointed with the service.
I like JB Hi-Fi stores. Always a great range of interesting tech goodies. Their staff are helpful and knowledgeable.
From the point of entry we were greeted and directed to exactly the products we were looking for. The store is clean and very tidy and all the customer service reps are friendly and approachable. I have really enjoyed all my experiences here. Thank you all.

This store offers a large variety of electronic goods from small appliances to tvs, computers and electronic media like cds, vinyl, dvds and blurays. The store has a lot on offer and is mostly easy to get around but expect to go around the long way if someone is blocking the way. The main problem I find with JBhifi is that there's never a staff member around when i need them. Usually at the camera section Ill stand for 5 mins like an idiot looking around with my wallet out, then i give up and find someone but ofcourse their from a different department and cant help me. Its my only gripe and i can understand the problem with staffing but its made me not buy items a number of times since i didnt have so much time waste, standing around. Other than that its a great store, brings value to lynn mall and has a handy location near the main entrance.
Great customer service today despite the store being very busy. I really appreciated the good service today. Thank you. Not 5 stars only because it was very busy and there weren't enough staff to help on the floor. Nonetheless, they immediately tried to help the moment they see you.
