I like the rice taste. It makes me remember the same feeling when I had in Istanbul. However, for lamb shank, I feel it's a bit oily, like lamb shank bolognese. But overall food are so good. I recommend grilled meat. It so so good. The service is great. Restaurant is clean and good atmosphere.Food: 5/5

Delicious food full of flavour with decent portions. There humus is a must have!!!! Only thing to improve on is probably their customer service, we walked in with no other customers there, all the staff just stared at us with out greeting….slightly awkward…

Best Mediterranean food in Auckland! Such delicious flavours in all their dishes! The meat was perfectly cooked and paired well with fresh Salads and a variety of dips! Also it looks out to the neighbourhood behind and its nice to dine away by the window looking out. Do note that on hot days, the place does get very hot even next to a window. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options available. Parking: Street parking can get difficult during peak hours. Wheelchair accessibility: Stair access into the place.

Attended with the cabincrew ladies last wk Friday, Food was absolutely amazing, the size of my plate, goodness gracious, it was humugus!!!! Thank you for the wonderful food and overall experience, my mojito was nice and strong as it should be. Will have to bring my family here. Overall highly recommendFood: 5/5

Service and hygiene! Absolute 0, Not even worthy 1 star!!!! There was fungus growing inside and outside of this water bottle top. This will be reported to the Auckland city council! Service was so bad especially by this tall Bond girl! It’s such a shame because food was actually not bad. Note to the Owners! Keep your staff and Hygiene upto standard or council will be knocking on the door! Save your money and go elsewhere!

Absolutely highly recommend Jaan. We dined here last night by chance for a late bite, and were 'wowed' by the Staff, seriously delicious food - superb, and decor. We are definitely returning, probably sooner than later. Our Server was attentive, good customer service along with the lovely Lady who greeted, seated and settled our bill. Thank you for the complimentary Orange Turkish Delight wow, super delicious.

Came here on 13/5/23 around 8-9pm, white lady behind the bar reception was extremely rude for no reason. This is not my first time being served by her, and she still has not been able to make a change with her attitude. I love this restaurant but she needs to fix up or go. Other than that the food and shisha was awesome. The two ladies serving us downstairs were lovely and respectful.

Byo wine. Shared prawn entree and squid entree. Tasty and moist. Just right if you're not overly hungry. Very quiet as mid week lunch. Waitress was knowledgeable and friendly.Food: 5/5

We lunched in at Jaan in the weekend and enjoyed the gorgeous view overlooking Kingsland. Staff was very friendly and we were promptly served for beverages and food however there a significant wait for both drinks and then the entrees then mains to arrive. This was disappointing given we were the only ones in the restaurant. Nonetheless, when the food did arrive, I was most satisfied with my selections and enjoyed the beautiful flavours and textures of my prawns then snapper main. The coffees were exceptional.
