Nice little restaurant located in the heart of Mt Eden, came here for dinner, so street parking is by chance. Tried several different dishes and tastes good. If you like Italian food this will be a great place to come and visit. Staffs are polite and friendly, seatings at the back is reasonably comfort. Definitely worth coming here for your next meal
The place is huge and can get quite loud. Our dishes took quite a lot of time. I had pasta with veggies, which was average in the best case. And there was no tiramisu. Overall, the place is to commercial to give the sense of an authentic Italian place.
Wow....super delicious And very friendly staff. Surely will come back. The only thumbs down ....no coffee serve for an Italian resto....luckily across the road serves coffee.
Seriously yummy food! Me and my partner have been here 3 times now and will continue coming back. The service is exceptional and they focus on making sure the customer has a really happy and positive experience. Great energy. Especially the lovely waitress with the long dark hair!! Brings the positive vibes Food: 5/5
We're quite late there last night for dinner, the service was great and in time. We ordered garlic bread, Ravioli and gnocchi were very tasty, Ravioli looks relatively smaller portion compared to gnocchi. Very tempted to try tiramisu but enough food at the time, will definitely try it out next time. Only one thing not perfect was that even the food was tasty enough but still quite salty. If you like salt, that won't be a problem...
The food was good but the service was shocking. It was fine at the start as the waitress with short, dark hair seated us and gave us menus shortly after. When she came back a few minutes later to take our order, we asked for one more minute to decide. But she did not come back till 20 minutes later. After we placed our order, we waited an hour for our truffle fries and another 20 minutes for our pasta. When our food finally arrived she did not say anything to address the long wait time. By the time we got our fries, the table next to us had gotten and finished their entrees, mains, and dessert. When we addressed the issue to another waitress when we were paying our bill, she was very apologetic and said she was going to take the fries off our bill which was very nice of her and we really appreciated it. But the waitress who served us yelled “NO!” across the restaurant as she over heard our conversation. However, the waitress still proceeded to take off the fries off our bill. Overall, good food, but the service makes all the difference in a dining experience.
Food was excellent. Service friendly and very good. Sticky date pudding outstanding. It was a cold night and unfortunately a cold draft from the garden area. Overall, a superb night.Food: 4/5
I had the seafood pasta. Fresh seafood but it was on the salty side. Staff was mainly friendly. The room was cold as the garden kept opening., letting cold winter air in. Tiramisu for dessert and it was yum!Food: 3/5
Their food is great. But we were disappointed with them today. Waitress asked if we want sparkling or tap water and I asked for sparkling. We thought it would be free like the other times we visited there. But they charged us for the water. If you charge for it you shouldn't be asking if we want sparkling or tap water. The question should be instead whether we want anything to drink! Obviously not the best way to keep your loyal customers!
I went with friends for the first time because they've been there before and had a good time. The food was good, the Tiramisu is great. The moctails were way to sweet for me. Service was OK. Saturday night, so there was a loud party in the outdoor area. It was so loud that talking was a challenge. We were a big group and I had to lean forward to even hear the person next to me. There were 13 of us and staff insisted that we pay as a group because they can't split the bill. I'm no expert on this, but splitting a bill should be an option. I've never went anywhere where paying separately was a problem... on top of this, the way one of the staff talked to us was completely unacceptable. In the end a lady help us out at another eftpos machine. It would have been all fine after all, but I'm not going back to a place where anyone talks to guests like that...
