Excellent food. The food was fresh and awesome. This is one of my favorite Indian restaurant in Auckland. Staff are super friendly. I had lunch there twice. Can totally recommend it and will definitely come back again...

When I lived in Stonefields I came here a lot. First time back in many years and was not disappointed. Nice cold Chardonnay. The medium curry was very medium. Great taste in my butter chicken. The naan was delicious and full of garlic. A large dining room with a great feel. Nice staff and amazing food. Great to visit again after many years.

Only place in New Zealand that does Soya Chaap so well. Biryani too had a freshness. Will be visiting this place more frequently.Recommended dishesBarra Kabab Ie Lamb Chops

One of best indian restuarent so far in Auckland. Food was 10/10, customer service was 10/10, loved the experience after a long time. Auckland was missing great indian joint and thats the best after a long time. We visit atleast every fortnight and will be coming to this place more often now

Absolutely amazing! The food here is divine. I especially love their goat curry. Superb. The staff here are so accommodating and go the extra mile. If you are lucky they have special cocktail offers and happy hour. All good things come to those who wait.

From the catering to the management of seating people, it was absolutely fantastic. Everyone was so friendly yet professional. I would love to thank manager/owner for carrying out all details of the night flawlessly and ensuring that the guests needs were met and that the staff were well managed. Your service was definitely fantastic and i would definitely recommend this place to anyone whom is looking for awesome service and friendly management to host their family or friendly events/occasions. You are definitely able to trust these folks in carrying out your needs/requirements to ensure you are satisfied with your night.

This place used to be good but now the prices have gone up but the food hasn't gotten better, it's gotten worse, had a biryani which was so full of oil and was very heavy, I could barely eat half of it. Fried rice was the same, too much oil and not very flavorful. Their curries are Ok, still not worth the price for getting takeaway.Food: 2/5

Ordered meal for 19 people. Everyone loved it. Delicious and well presented. Order was accurate and ready for collection on time. I would highly recomend this place.

Amazing food, and probably the coldest kingfisher on tap in the country ! Biryani is amazing and not dry like some other places. Sholay kebab is brilliant as well. Food is always fresh and service is prompt.

The quality , taste and quantity at Sand Castle is by far the best in Auckland among Indian cuisines. The lamb biryani is so amazing here that it’s just unfair to drive back home! Infact, it reminds me of home and I keep going back to enjoy their delicious food. Anyone who wants to eat that “authentic Indian” food without food color and non- existent spice, this is the place! Pls don’t forget to order the chilli chicken as well!
